I am personally a foodie, and know very well about almost all the famous restaurants in Nagercoil. Once when I had been to Iyyangaar, the recently famous tea kadai in the Kanyakumari highway.
I was hungry that time and felt like having shawarma. Since this restaurant is nearby, thought of giving it a try. As soon as go nearby, a very bad smell, from the nearby drain way, which they could have easily tackled or done something to rectify the problem of the bad smell. But they didn’t. Anyways, ordered the shawarma, waited for a while. Long story short. The shawarma came. It was so cold, and the kubboos was hard and dry. But still tasted not bad. Once completed our dinner and made the payment, the guy on the counter asked if the food tasted good. And I humbly told him that the food is good, but could be better, as it’s not hot and it’s very dry and hard as well. The moment I told this, the guy at the counter started showing his attitude mentioning that, I didn’t know how does a shawarma normally taste, Claiming that, this is how a very good shawarma should taste normally and also he has been into hotel management for the last 30 years and he knew everything about food.
I was like, “bro, I have been to almost every shawarma shops in Nagercoil. And I know how they are much better than the one you gave.” And he was like, “No, no one knows how to make a real shawarma!” And started complaining about the other shops who make very good shawarma than them… 😂
After this, I really didn’t wanted to wast any of my time, and left the place.
I personally didn’t like,
Am not sure about the rest of the foods there.
I don’t know who’s the owner of this shop, But this attitude should be changed as he is representing the face of the restaurant, which is not good for any shops or...
