Ram Babu Parathe Wale — Restaurant in Agra

Earlier I was on a trip to Agra & visited many places which are quite popular in terms of their food and all. After returning from Fatehpur Sikri we decided to try parathans of this place as this place is already quite popular for parathas.

This place is nearby Akbar's tomb (not more than 1 km I guess).

Parathas are so costly here. I asked for Maggie Paratha & Chana Masala Paratha. At that time only 3-4 more people were sitting in the restaurant.

After 15 mins; waiter told me that 'Sir Chana masala paratha nhi ho payega' so I decided to go for Mewa paratha. In another 10 mins, he came with Maggie Paratha.

Taste of Maggie Paratha was average that I had to check that if we were sitting on the correct 'Ram Babu Paratha Wala' or not. (Sorry but this is the fact)

We waited for 20 more minutes & then asked for our Mewa paratha. Waiter told us to wait for 10 more minutes.

Again after 15 mins we asked for the same. then waited told me that we had to wait for 10 more mins. Then we decided to move. As it had been approx 1 hour.

Overall very disappointed with this place.

Just a suggestion, if you guys have earned popularity then please respect that. We had a very high exception with this place that we didn't eat anything to try parathas...

Been longing to visit the place since it's opening on NH 2 , had heard a lot about it , got the opportunity this month , less crowd due to covid protocol , place is clean and tidy , quick service , soft spoken , disciplined staff , modest owner and the true reason to be there is the "Paratha" that glorifies the name of Ram babu , those who avoid eating paratha at night due to the claim that it's heavy to digest at night , must seriously visit the place and be surprised of their long held myth being blown to ashes , 1 paratha is sufficient to fill up your belly , if you still want another , you can have it too , with no digestion problem troubling you thereafter , not then , not the other morning , and the taste , not to be forgotten till your next visit to , and trying another flavour at , nowhere but "Ram Babu Parathe Wale" , our family has decided to travel 250 km. to Agra not for Taj or red fort or any other historical place there , but , for another encounter with our taste buds and the...

Visited today rambabu parantha sikandra outlet ample parking space available with so so sitting arrangement And ambience, i have heard lot abt its speciality in parantha but to my surprise my personal experience was not that gud. ..starting with food i ordered both parantha and express thali the parantha was serviced very fast on table with three sabjis pickle and chutney talking abt its taste the parantha was thin and properly cooked in ghee with no extra oil or ghee seen inside out no need to use,any tissues,to remove extra oil which was a nice thing but the aaloo sabji, kadi (jhol), and loki sabji all were not upto the mark so combination was quite disappointing, Then we were served with thali in which we were served 4 rotis with ghee and 4 sabjis about its taste nothing special and quantity was also not gud. ..
