Review: Extremely Disappointing Experience at Shri Bankey Bihari Mishtan Bhandar – Not Recommended at All

I recently visited Shri Bankey Bihari Mishtan Bhandar, and my experience was extremely poor. Here are the key issues I faced:

Poor hygiene – Even after asking multiple times, the table was not cleaned properly. The cloth used had a strong, unpleasant smell.

Contaminated drinking water – There was a fly floating in the drinking water, which is both unhygienic and a serious health concern.

Dirty utensils – The glasses and plates looked like they were rinsed with just water. Sticky ghee residue was still visible.

Incorrect order – I ordered butter roti but was served plain roti, with no apology or effort to correct the mistake.

Unattentive staff – No one came to take our order for a long time. Even after calling repeatedly, the staff ignored us.

Shocking hygiene violation – I saw a stray dog eating samosas directly from the same tray in which samosas are served to customers.

Very late service – Even after repeatedly asking, the food arrived very late, and when it finally came, it was the wrong order.

This level of negligence and lack of basic hygiene is unacceptable. If you care about cleanliness, good service, and your health, I strongly advise avoiding Shri Bankey Bihari Mishtan...

Extremely Unhygienic and Poor Service

I had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The hygiene was absolutely terrible. There were flies in the drinking water, and all the utensils were greasy and unclean. The service was extremely slow — we had to wait far too long for even basic things.

To make matters worse, a dog outside was licking the food items kept near the entrance, and no staff member seemed to care or even notice. It was clear that there was no proper supervision or cleanliness maintained.

I would not recommend this place to anyone looking for a safe and pleasant...

Almost everyone must have heard this saying" unchi dukan feeke pakwan". If you are going here just by seeing the rating and it's physical infrastructure, you ll definitely make a fool of yourself. I went here after someone recommend me and purchased ghewar. I swear I have never tasted such awful ghewar in my life. Its cream seemed fresh but it's base was smelly. They claim to prepare in desi ghee but God knows what kind low quality oil was used in making the base. If possible do taste before purchasing else your hard earned money will go...
