Ambrosia — Restaurant in Ajmer

If hospitality is your only desire this place is not for you. More better options are available in Ajmer. When first time i visited this hotel is to drop my friend who came from Mumbai and had a stay there. By the time they were getting his room ready we were waiting in the lobby, it was around 10 O'clock in the morning and we were having discussions about his meeting going to happen in Ajmer and the receptionist was damn interested in our talks. They just can't provide you an atmosphere where you can discuss your meetings, plan or anything confidential. Though a lobby is not a place for all that but at least they should make you feel comfortable that you can sit and wait in the lobby meanwhile your room is getting ready by them. Second time I visited the roof top restaurant for a party but there serving time was beyond any tolerance. Third time I visited the place to check the rooms if it can do for a small ring ceremony and small number of guests. I visited with my father to check their rooms and the facilities they were providing. The receptionist not only interrogated as needed for their checking norms but they kept on asking as if I have eloped with someone and looking for a private room. Though when he came to know that i needed the terrace for whole day for a ring ceremony and a fine number of rooms of guests and he showed some concern for a good deal they were going to get, I just dumped them. Who will wish to chose a place where guests will be bothered with a number of interrogations and interference in their personal life. And the last but not the least thing the place do not have good parking system. Every time when i parked my vehicle receptionist stopped and just instructed that you have to park there or there and you have to waste a good time in thinking for a parking...

it used to be a good restaurant...but now they have shortened their menu and upgraded the ambience...which is of no use since the staff is old and rude...the service people didn't even bothered to look at seated customer for order rather watching match on the big screen...we ordered a bruschetta which was not worth eating as it was not even baked just assembled with raw onion tomato and raw cheese...yes raw cheese...who does that...we asked them that its not how its supposed to be...but the rude uncle didn't agreed and said it is like this only...we said that we want to cancel and we hadn't had one bite since it looked pathetic. out of courtesy we said that we are leaving just take whatever charges you want... because they had delayed so much and we were hungry....the guy, the billing person and other people not even bothered that we hadn't taken a single bite from the food yet they are charging the customer... couldn't imagine the staff behaviour...I used to like this place earlier ...but now...not going again...not recommending also.

Don't go with their ambience and polite talking specially the lady Ms. Leena.This restaurant used to be great but it has gone down hill from food to service. We have organised a party on the roof top hall. She had given many promises at the time of booking but most of them were false. The quality and taste of food was too bad. Main course and starters were not hot. She also forgot to serve an item which was decided on the booking time. She promised to provide a good music system but she provided a small speakers that was not suitable for hall. They charged 50% amount for booking and full amount before party so you can't deduct any amount for service and missing item. And compelled us to give all amount in cash. They added tax amount in total expense but didn't allow us for any digital payment to save their tax and increase the profit. They didn't provide us the bill or booking details so we were unable to cross check the menu items. Overall very bad experience and not...
