Mmm, there are so many things wrong about this place and I'm having trouble deciding on where to begin..
Few points to remember - It's not a family restaurant. It's only good for friends and solo dining. Food is not at all worth the price. Unresponsive staff.
Ambience - It looks like a decent shipping container restaurant from the outside but on the inside, the place is "not even close to being an average restaurant". Instead of classical or jazz music, you'll find a TV that's playing something unrelated to dining and travelling with a volume that makes the people sitting below it unable to communicate. Being a container themed restaurant, there's no central AC. The wall mounted AC will be turned on upon request.
Service - Upon entering the hotel, no one will ask you "how many members will u be dining today" or anything of that sort.. You have to approach someone and ask them and they'll allot you a table. No one will approach you to collect your order, you have to call them, and after calling them, they'll tag another member of the waiting group, and that guy will tag another to collect the order (all of them were just watching the TV which is placed over our head) Finally someone comes and takes our order in some customised mobile app. They all look uninterested in what they're doing..No grace in their face. No passion for hospitality and no basic training.
They came back with our order, we were a party of 9, They didn't even ask who ordered what and what we'd prefer eating, they just went ahead and served everything in small quantities in every plate.
The Food - "Not worth the price". First, we ordered soups and 5 min later, starters. They brought both together, soup was hot but starters weren't, they were at room temp at best. Upon asking about the condition of the starters, we got no reply, just silent treatment. Both Quality and Quantity were not upto the mark and not worth the hefty price when compared to average restaurants. No proper dippings for starters. Biryani's were average at best..The best thing we had there was thumpsup drink..
You wanna know the cherry on the top for this entire experience? You have to wash your hands by stepping out of the hotel, going into an alley way, picking up an empty mug, fill it up with water present in the bucket and wash your hands in the sink that stinks.
Wow. What a restaurant..
The first thing I'd do to change the atmosphere of the hotel is to change the staff and hire someone who's passionate about...
Read moreNot worthy of that one star too.. Ambience is scary and so clumsy.. staff don't care about the customers..they have an attitude which even the person with most patience can't tolerate.. a girl to be more specific Hindi speaking girl was so rude to us . She literally threw food on our faces and dint bother to serve it.. and there was the owner who was backing up this girl saying that she doesn't understand telugu.. respect and duty have no language I guess however I was speaking in a language which she can understand.. my parents 40 th wedding anniversary was a complete upset because of these people.. never I'll go or recommend this restaurant to anyone . By the way don't by the Google images .the top floor is just a dhaba.. the staircase was so scary.. there is no proper handwash also . I generally don't write reviews..but I hope this review will help someone to celebrate their occasion in a better place with better people.. and also haleem is so expensive here . 325 Same quantity and taste at other places.....
Read moreThis is totally a late late review. It was a family trip and tad over lunch time too. The restaurant is made out from a container but they have done the decor so nicely. The ventilation is good and nicely done.. The seating was spacious and good. The guys were really sweet and arranged us a bigger table.
We had a lengthy order and the suggestions by the people over there were really nice. We ordered soups, starters, main course like naan, biryani and finally some mocktails and desserts too.
The serving time was not that long and it was prompt service. The starters were superb especially the koramenu fish fry and the cheese chilli corn. The kids had a thorough time enjoying the starters. The biryani was superb with enough spice and masala. The masala naan was best as it was soft and smooth.
In short the experience was really good. And we had a good time dining...
