Just visited today with my entire family. And it was a big big disappointment. All pomp and show. This place is huge. That's the only advantage or the biggest advantage to it
Most of the items in the menu ain't available. Just a bottle of water costs 100Rs. which is a total waste of money or a simple marketing gimmick to just cheat the customers. Quiet understaffed is this place. Service is like a snail and take ages to get delivered. OVERPRICED. Quantity wise is also a disaster.
Now let's talk about the food. We ordered VEG BULLETS, CRISPY CORN, VEG FRIED RICE, 10 BUTTER NAAN, DAAL FRY, PANEER BUTTER MASALA, CHICKEN PATIYALA
The only best thing in the entire dining experience is the VEG BULLETS and CRISPY CORN. Quantity wise the crispy corn was good as each one got enough morsels to enjoy it.
The VEG BULLETS were too pricey and surprised to see that just 10 pieces of it costed me around 300 bucks. Are potatoes really that pricey. Other than potatoes there was nothing else.
VEG FRIED RICE was the biggest disappointment. It was just plain rice with some veggies tossed in the rice without any salt or anything else what so ever. Nothing Chinese in it.
BUTTER NAAN was too buttery and too thin enough that it was almost translucent.
Now let's talk about DAL FRY. Has dal become so so pricey that every member just got a spoonful of it. Disgusting. And for this they charged almost 200 bucks. What kind of a sick joke is this.
PANEER BUTTER MASALA was just a sugary syrup with the tiniest pieces of paneer cut into it. We can easily count the pieces of paneer as each one just got 3 tiniest pieces possible. We had to shell almost 270 bucks for it.
Let's talk about the best thing CHICKEN PATIYALA. This was the biggest disappointment... Better not to describe about it.
In short this place is all just to take people for a ride and give them nothing...
Read moreGaruda Food Courts, located on the Vijayawada to Eluru highway, offers a wide range of food options, but unfortunately, the prices are quite steep for the quality of services provided. While the establishment boasts excellent service with orders being delivered quickly, the overall experience leaves much to be desired.
One of the few positives is the well-maintained and spacious restrooms, which are a relief for travelers. Additionally, the ample parking space makes it a convenient stop for those driving long distances. The food court's accessibility and high visibility from the highway are also advantageous.
However, the dining experience itself was disappointing. Despite the availability of various dining options, hygiene standards were visibly lacking. The entire space felt old and poorly maintained. I noticed cockroaches roaming on the floor while eating, which was incredibly unsettling and unhygienic. This significantly overshadowed any positive aspects of the visit.
Moreover, while the area offers numerous picturesque spots perfect for quick photos and selfies, the overall ambiance doesn't match the expectations set by its reputation. It feels overrated and fails to deliver the premium experience it claims to offer.
In conclusion, while Garuda Food Courts may be a convenient stop for a quick break, the lack of cleanliness and the inflated prices make it a less-than-ideal choice. For travelers seeking a hygienic and enjoyable dining experience, it might be best to explore other options along...
Read moreA Gem Near Eluru, Just Mind the Water Bottle! We were passing by Eluru and looking for a decent place to have a meal, and honestly, finding Garuda Restaurant felt like such a win! As soon as we pulled up, I was impressed. The place looks so clean and inviting from the outside, and the vibe continues inside. It’s spacious, airy, and has a really refreshing feel to it. The service was great – no complaints there, everyone was quick and polite. But let's get to the important part: the food. It was genuinely good quality. I have to tell you, their Pongal is the real star of the show. It was absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve had in a while. If you go, you simply have to order it. I was all set to rave about this place being perfect, but we hit one snag. When we got the bill, I was shocked at the price of a simple bottle of drinking water. It was incredibly expensive for what it is. It’s a small detail, but it’s the kind of thing that leaves you feeling a bit cheated. It just feels wrong to overcharge for a basic necessity, and it put a slight damper on an otherwise fantastic breakfast. So, my advice? Definitely go to Garuda. The atmosphere is lovely and the food is worth the stop, especially that Pongal. Just be prepared for the water price, or maybe carry your own bottle if you can. I really hope the management rethinks this, because they’ve created something special here, and it would be a shame for such a small thing to spoil it for...
