This protocol fundamentally undermines the purpose of mobile ordering, as it fails to deliver the expected time-saving benefit. The expectation for a mobile order is that it would be ready or nearing completion upon arrival, not that arrival would trigger the commencement of preparation. This operational model renders the pre-ordering system largely ineffectual. Further exacerbating this issue is the consistent observation of insufficient staffing levels. Frequently, only one or two personnel are responsible for managing the entirety of the store's operations. This necessitates a single individual handling order placement, payment processing, food preparation, and finally, order packaging and delivery. Such a multi-tasking burden on limited staff invariably leads to prolonged wait times and diminished service efficiency. This operational framework represents a substantial managerial shortcoming at the store level. A more efficient allocation and rotation of staff are imperative.
