⚠️ Unsafe and Poor-Quality Chicken from KFC – Undercooked, Black Patches, and Bad Taste (Photo Attached)
I had a very disturbing experience with the food I received from this KFC outlet. One of the chicken pieces had a black/grey patch under the skin, and the inside looked undercooked and discolored, almost raw.
To be sure, I asked ChatGPT about it — and the response confirmed my concern. It clearly said that such discoloration, especially when combined with grey or undercooked meat, could be a sign of bruising, spoiled meat, or poor handling. It also said this is not normal and not safe to eat.
I contacted KFC about it, and someone from their team responded saying “this is common in some pieces.” Let me make it clear: ➡️ There is nothing “common” or acceptable about undercooked chicken with black patches that taste bad and feel hard.
The part of the chicken where the black color appeared was hard, chewy, and had an unpleasant taste — definitely not fresh or properly cooked. This isn’t just about looks; the texture and taste were also off.
If KFC is calling this "normal," then it's a sign of serious negligence in food preparation, training, or quality control. Serving food like this is a health hazard and shows a lack of care for customer safety.
I’ve attached a photo for reference, and if no action is taken, I’ll be escalating this to KFC India customer support and reporting to FSSAI.

I had a very simple order Fries and Chicken Pop corn. The cashier asked me to take a meal so that I get cool drink added for which I okayed. I mentioned specifically that I dont need a carry bag. Without intimating me, the cashier added the carry bag to bill. As I questioned, she downplayed it saying I will need it because I have a "Drink". I didnt want to argue further and left it. I gave my card for debit.. the cashier tries twice and comes back saying machine isnt working. Seriously?? A multi national company claiming digital transaction isnt available. I had to give cash (luckily I was carrying some) and she conveniently skips the change and gives me incorrect amount in return. I had to fight for taking my money back again.
Now comes the delivery part. I waited for a good 15 min for this order. In the meantime, Fries were ready and Pop corn wasnt. As the popcorn was getting readied, they could have packed fries to maintain the heat. In the end, when I yelled how long would it take for this order, they brought Pop corn and served me the fries which were not at all hot. And finally, the vendor gives me the drink in hand saying it wont stand in the carry bag. What the hell??????

Incorrect orders were served multiple times (for example: Mountain Dew was replaced with Pepsi, and a large 7-Up was replaced with plain soda). I was even given expired mayonnaise. The burger bread was not fresh at all — it was completely dry and hard. Things are clearly getting out of hand at this outlet. Despite multiple polite complaints, the staff remained uncooperative, inattentive, and displayed very poor customer service. Even after complaining about my order, they made me wait unnecessarily. The outlet had no working air conditioning. Although the staff had raised complaints about it, KFC management itself has not taken any action. You can even see from the pictures that a person at the counter was completely drenched in sweat — now imagine the situation of the staff working inside the kitchen! I was made to wait in a long queue even after my order was displayed as "ready." Additionally, the staff were busy engaging in casual conversations, using inappropriate language in front of customers, and showing a careless attitude. This is highly unprofessional and completely unacceptable from a reputed brand like KFC. I have spoken to the manager over the phone, but the issue requires much stronger action and serious improvements — simple apologies...
