Extremely Disappointing Experience at Nakshatra Food Court, Machilipatnam

We entered this restaurant at 1:30 PM and placed our order, which included a Chicken Fried Rice specifically for my 4-year-old child (menakodalu), along with other items like Mutton Nalli Gosh Biryani and Chicken Corn Soup. Shockingly, even after more than an hour, the food for the child was not served.

The staff and management were utterly unresponsive—they neither updated us nor apologized for the delay. Their attitude was careless, and it’s evident they are not concerned about customer experience, especially when it involves a small child waiting for food.

The ambience is poor, and hygiene is worse. Take a look at the handwash area on the first floor—it’s a live example of their cleanliness standards.

To top it off, Google had listed this restaurant under ‘Best Hotels’ in the area, which is incredibly misleading. Based on our experience, this place doesn’t even deserve to be listed at all. I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this restaurant.

1. Butter chilly mushroom--tastes good. but very salty.
2. Kalmi kebab -- not tasty. very salty. more restaurants in mtm provide best kalmi kebabs than this.
3. Butter Naan -- very salty. No butter.
4. Butter chicken -- very salty and spicy. no butter.
5. Chicken kolhapuri -- very salty and spiciest food I ever had. drank full bottle of water and pepsi to control the spiciness. Over all about taste: am sure, they are getting salt at 1+1 offer. hence they are adding more salt.

Service: worst service. Took order after 30 mins of waiting. After 1 hr of waiting they claimed fish tikka is unavailable. After one more hr of waiting they claimed mutton biryani is unavailable. They served butter naan, chicken curries after a long wait.and served naan and curries are chilled too. Finally left the place with hungry...

Nothing so great about it. Pretty average place. Ambience was very gloomy. Food was below average. Tried Nalli ghost Biriyani and red chicken biryani. Both are pathetic. Nalli ghost was way too sweet. Absolutely no biryani flavour. Chicken in biryani and starters was just boiled. There is no taste to it. I believe that what ever dish is ordered, boiled chicken will be blended with some kind of sauces. If you just eat the piece, it’s bland. Repenting for visiting the place.
