Sweet Magic — Restaurant in Andhra Pradesh

Just now went for lunch to sweet magic restaurant at Kanuru along with my parents wife and mother in law.. @1:30 pm

We ordered malai paneer biryani and 2 vegetarian thali.. The waiter doesn't understand Telugu... Only Hindi..he said point blank that vegetarian thali is not available..i asked why? He said rice not available It will take 30 minutes to cook.

I said okay will wait.. He made a face n asked u will wait for 30 minutes... Biryani? Fried rice?.. I said no..Will wait

After 15 minutes.. Malai paneer biryani was served.. Bland n below par... Then we ordered two curd rice.. Was surprised to find it had no garnishing at all.. No curry leaves, no onions, carrot, pomegranate etc.... No taste.. Home made curd rice is super delicious

After 40 minutes two vegetarian thalis were served.. Less said the better about quality and taste

1. The door leading from the sweet shop to the restaurant was left open..House flies hoverng over the table.. AC not switched on.... We had to drive away houseflies with our hands while eating..
2. While paying the bill my father left a tip of 20..an Oriya girl who was serving us objected and asked for more.. My father gave Rs. 70 snd then she smiled
3. When I was taking our car, the parking guy demanded money and i gave him 20...then the sweeper came and asked..

All in all.. A horrifiying experience at Sweet Magic Kanuru restaurant.... Unhygienic ambience, unpleasant rude staff, bland and tasteless food of doubtful quality.... Do not visit and waste your...

A month back we visited this place and we're happy that Sweet Magic has openned a new branch in Kanuru which is relatively near by to our place.. today when we planned to dine out, we wanted to try out sweet magic... Here goes our experience.....

No Magic in the food... Atleast half of the dishes ordered by us were told not available....basic ones like tomato soup...dal tadka or dal fry...

When we go out for dining we order plain papad/s for our little one which he loves... Papads were not available...pathetic.... There was a retail outlet of sweets and namkeen so we grabbed a potato chips box... Chips were stale and oil smelling...

90grms chips costed 100rs... Imagine our disappointment...

Starters were just ok ...we ordered mushroom and paneer.. We ordered garlic butter naan, methi chaman and veg kolkapuri... Not upto the mark....bland...

Jeera rice which was over priced at @250 a plate was only item that was good ...

Costs are comparatively on higher side... Happy to spend those extra bucks if they can serve requested Menu and keep up the taste...

So @sweetmagic pls gear up... Don't just live on the brand name...try to put some real effort....

For any one planning to visit during special days,family gatherings, bdays, anniversaries definitely not a place to visit...

I couldn’t find 0 rating here and so forced to give 1 instead. Not sure why n how so many ppl queuing to dine in this place. The from serving to cheque we’ve had a horrible experience. Ordered veg biryani n we got oil bathed rice with minute veggies in it. And then with hope of finding a good dish, we ordered ulavacharu biryani and that’s the end of our happiness. Road side dhaba is far better than this. Especially the waiter n server there are worst. They will give ur order first and but not plates🤦‍♂️ After huge disappointment, we offered no tip to server and he left in anger n frustration(so are we). I would suggest u guys don’t go there n get disappointed with that worst...
