There is no option of giving 0 star else i would have given ZERO to them. So i went there for dinner. First i thought of ordering thai curry, but when i asked more about the dish the order taker he seems little confused so i went for their Christmas special santa wok bowl chicken. The order taker told me that chicken pieces will be chopped and fried rice they will served etc…i thought ok chicken would be there and fried rice also but my god i was shocked by seeing that bowl upon serving…… steamed rice on top layer of black bean /chilli bean sauce and very little mashed chicken. After testing the dish i informed the cashier that rice was not fried instead they served undercooked basmati rice. And may be 1 pc of chicken they chopped and spread on top. Being a chef i my self know difference between fried rice and cooked rice but he refused to listen and told me that it was fried only. May be this the difference between 4/5 star restaurant and street side restaurant, in small stall like this they dont bother to listen though he noticed i took only one bite. Not even bother to replace the dish or ask again if i need something. I just wasted my 314 and time and food as well. I didn’t even eat. I must say public domain food quality is far more better than this. At least listen to guest , if we are paying and telling u something then at least have courtesy to apologise and cross check. I didnt eat but i paid the full amount. Regret...
Read moreI absolutely love this place! I’ve been visiting 37 Street Affair since before it was renovated, and while I enjoyed the food back then, it has improved by leaps and bounds now!
The décor is chic, minimal, and very appealing. The staff are incredibly courteous—a special mention to Sanjeev/Sanjeeb Nath (pardon me if I’ve misspelled the name).
Now, coming to the food: the flavors are spot on! There’s something for everyone here.
If you like your Indo-Chinese food light on sauces, their fried rice, noodles, and soups are perfect—flavorful yet gentle on the palate and stomach.
If you prefer something mildly spiced, try the chicken momos—they’re juicy and just perfect. Honestly, one plate isn’t enough!
And for those who enjoy a spicy kick, dishes like the salt and pepper prawns and the combo meals really deliver.
A special shoutout for the eco-friendly, minimal packaging and thoughtfully chosen crockery—it’s a lovely touch and shows how modern and conscious...
Read moreAll big things comes in small packages!!! Guwahati where exists this wonderful cafe in between many over rated cafes. I have booked the upper part of the cafe for a birthday party. I provided them some reference picture how the decoration should be done and they did exactly same and it was totally mesmerizing what they did. Lets hop into food menu now. They have an inexpensive but exhaustive food menu but the food is super delicious. They have many many scrumptious food to offer out which i have tried Burger, momos, nuggets, peri peri fries, grilled sandwiches. But veg burger is what i loved the most out of all. I think burger should be a must try if you visit here. Last but not the least is dessert i went for chocolate truffle cake it was super tasty and i am still drooling thinking about that cake. Kudos!!!! to the 37 street cafe for making...
