AMAR SWAD GHAR — Restaurant in Assam

If you want to continue as an average restaurant, please skip the review. I ordered Special Non veg thali at ₹545 (490+fees & taxes ) Packaging was bad, 3 dishes got leaked, may be some tapes and better quality materials will help. Good to see so many items, but taste can be improved. Anybody can say everything was cooked in a hurry and without much effort. Duck curry and mutton curry was okay, chef need to learn more about uses of spices. Chilli flavored pyaj paneer fry (I don't know what it was !?) was rotten and smelly. Seemed like a leftover afterthought. Chef need to learn more about "maas patot dia", it was undercooked and lacked authentic flavour, try roasting the fish in banana leaf for 2 minutes in fire before steaming inside aluminium foil. Daal, alu-xaak bhaji, bengena bhaji was okay.

Ordered two. Pork items- pork curry and pork khorika. Pork khorika was stale. And it was stinking. When called the restaurant to complain, the guy on the other end spoke very rudely and refused to accept that it was the restaurant's fault. Do not order from this...

Located in a basement with very poor ventilation, non working Air conditioning. Toilets dirty. The food is average , had lunch at this place yesterday. Very sure never to visit or eat there again....
