Hemalata Dhaba — Restaurant in Assam

Yesterday, on August 30th, I went to this dhaba, and yes, I had been to this dhaba many times before. But yesterday was the worst experience because we ordered many items. Firstly, the chicken tandoori, which was quite good, was out of stock. Then we ordered pork pura, which was average. Next, we ordered American corn, which was fully coated with maida or cornflour; I don't know exactly, but the coating was too much, which is unacceptable, and the quantity was also not precise according to the price. They charged 300 rupees for the American corn. Then, I packed mutton kosha, and the waiter assured me that I would get 8 pieces. Yes, I got 8 pieces, but most of the pieces were livers. This is not good. It seems like you are fooling people. This is very bad. You are running a fooding business where you should give good quality food. You charge 440 for the mutton kosha. If you think this amount is less, then you can make it more expensive, but you shouldn't do this because food is someone's expectations, and after having those expectations, when you provide such kind of services, it really hurts because money is not the matter. Worst experience ever had never hd such disgusting assamese food in my whole life..baal kanot dhorisu najau ru..I ordered bhokua curry n it was worst n smelly n panner if someone pay me hd food like ds i will never hv ..i don waste food but seeing ma health n hygiene i could not hv it..n i cnt feed doz to dogs too because dey will be ill too so left 1200wala food..dt day I travelled from jorhat to ghy was looking for a best lunch but hd worst one..smelly salani fish in the name of local..n they don hv assamese cook because dt food tastes like northindian not north east..ami akhomiya hoi so jetia akhomiya foods khuju akhomiya foods e dibo lage biharie bonua latera foods dile kune khabo..life t emn beya khana khua nai..agote hemlata bhal asile but atia zero mainly staff n cook..modahi khine rati beya khana dileu taste napai but ami tu dinot goisilu..kmsekm dinot bhalke de..chii i will bot recommend ds...

I've consistently enjoyed exceptional dining experiences at Hemalata Dhaba. The diverse menu offers outstanding quality and variety, paired with impeccable hygiene standards. The tandoori chicken, smoked chicken, and tikka are standout starters. Their naan and roomali roti, especially the buttered options, perfectly complement the succulent duck, mutton and chicken dishes, (along with the available vegetarian items too). I equally enjoy ordering a combo of steamed rice, dal fry, mixed veg fry and green salad. The service is remarkably quick and efficient, adding to the overall delight.
