Well first lets talk about the food i am frequent diner at johns kitchen gs road but the one in kaziranga they served nearly no chicken and a lot and lot of vegetables in the chicken American chopsuey plus the were veggies which are not seasonal to the chopsuey or manchow style at all. Secondly comes the scam i mean i asked out for one full American chicken chopsuey by 2 plus one extra fried egg i.e. additional 20 rupee for the egg but these guys charged me for the 2 halfs for which i paid 60 extra mean i was broken from being a part of hospitality for industry and while growing up johns kitchen was always a go too but these kind of scams in order to increase their revenue targets is completely inappropriate. I hope you guys please look into this as the management might be manipulating from the inside. I dont want to but this is a consumer right to be provided the right charges and i humbly request the owner to look into this inappropriate pitching the kaziranga staff is doing. I just visited today and hell the food was bad plus this charge additional surcharge. Please maintain SOPs for recipes so that people get the same taste as the guwahati or...

Curt staff and owner. I was on my way from Guwahati to Jorhat, and I was looking forward to some good food at this place in Kaziranga. I go in, order my food, just to be told that they accept only cash....no cards, no upi payments....nothing. Only cash. I told them that it is a shame that they don't accept cards in today's world. I was still okay, until the waiter at my table said that their owner told them that if the customers cannot pay in cash, they can leave. Just imagine the kind of customer service that the owner is teaching their staff. When I was telling the waiter that this is no way to be talking to customers, the owner walks in. When I tell him about the situation, he curtly says that this is not his problem. I was trying to say that in today's world, people do not carry much cash. To this he retorts, "They should". There went all the love that I had for this place....all down the drain. I couldn't help but think to myself, "What has happened from his humble beginning to now, that the owner has become so arrogant and nonchalant"?

That's the review of the last meal that i ever have at...

Lovely ambience, great food, reasonable price, very clean. Highly recommended

Cut to May 2022. Food is still good. We went there around 2.30pm and order momos and pork gravy chow. They served bottled water but we asked them for normal filtered water. That was not served ; thankfully we had a water bottle in the car. Then someone called out to the waiter from the kitchen asking him to cancel the momos - Tell them it will take 1 hour - were the exact words. Having overhead the entire conversation, I felt it prudent to do so. Perhaps they had had a wonderful tourist season and were too tired to cook. The pork chow was well done. Oh! The serving cutlery is a knife and not a spoon. When asked, the waiter promptly replied - We always serve with a knife.

Looks like Mr. John's had his fill. I reduce one star for such atrocious behaviour.

Jan 2024 - Nothing new to write about. The tourist season is on, so hospitality is ok. Ordered ginger pork and gravy veg noodles. Noodles was ok, but the dry ginger pork was a bit dry, so recommend to take the...

Me and my husband dined in this beautiful eatery during our return from Kaziranga. It has got a wide array of dishes to munch upon including both vegetarian and non vegetarian dishes. We ordered hot and sour soup with chicken for starters. I believe it's a must try if you like an ample amount of chicken chunks in your soup coupled with shredded vegetables . For the main course, we ordered veg fried rice with schezwan chicken as a side dish. As condiments we received chilly vinegar, soya sauce and tomato ketchup. Along with it came a special type of sauce with chillies and garlic. If you are a fan of garlic like me, you are bound to love it. The restaurant has a great ambience with the theme of Biking. Since both of us went biking from Guwahati to Kaziranga, we simply loved the ambience! If you are looking for an authentic chinese destination in Kaziranga, then this is a must try. You will not return unsatisfied.

Outstandingly delicious food. Simply OUTSTANDING! One of the best restaurants in Kohora. They mainly serve Chinese/SE Asian/Thai style food. The pork fry was so lip-smacking fantastic, I went back two days in a row for it. (Note: this dish, and likely many pork dishes in this area, are served with a lot of pork fat - so if you just like the meat, be prepared to cut off about half of the dish). The chop suey here is also very good. The place is very new and more modern than most places in Kohora. Nice bathrooms and everything is clean here. The owner, a motor bike enthusiast, has decorated the place with his trips and adventurers which gives the atmosphere a cool feel with many interesting photos and other memorabilia to look at while you wait - which isn't long. Our dishes were served less than 10 min after ordering.
