South Corner — Restaurant in Assam

Quality has deteriorated from past months. Doesn't show any attempt to improve on the dining experience, specifically on food quality.

Dosa: (2/5) texture looks good but average taste. Need a change in rice or rice-urad dal ratio etc. Idli: (1/5) not soft or fluffy, tastes average. Sambar: (1/5) Too sour and the sambar-masala was weird. Vada: (0/5) Looks like we got re-fried vada of previous day which was sour and bad in taste and texture. Chutney: (1/5)Almost got spoiled one; not fresh, refrigerated.

Only Chole-Battura(3/5) was little worthy with above average taste and quality.

These are point-of-view from a southy. Few things like re-fried vada, sour taste (spoilt, not tamarind), etc. may go...

The quality of food and service has been detoriated. My self and my friends suffered from food poisoning after having DOSA. I asked other people also regarding the same but to my surprise any random person who went there for Dosa, suffered from food poisoning the very next day. They serve you with stale coconut chutney and I believe they are using stale batter for preparing DOSA too. I must admit that the behavior of the owner is very good and very helpful person. But the only thing where they could not stand is regarding their Quality of food. Please use good quality of ingredients while serving innocent customers...And I am not going to your shop anymore...

Best chole bhature of silchar I was craving for CB from quite sometime and was thinking from where should I order, opened swiggy and saw this restaurant on list, did not think too much, just ordered it, the bhatures are so soft, chota curry is very tasty and less spicy . My parents too enjoyed it. I would highly recommend CB I m yet to try other dishes. And price is very much reasonable in compare to other...
