Pearl Restaurant — Restaurant in Bardhaman

Great restaurant with average food and service. Recently I visited with my family for lunch. The restaurant was completely empty and only another customer joined for the whole 1 and half hour we were there. In spite of no customers, they took almost 30 min for basic preparation and serve. There were too many waiters but they were busy gossiping. The service was real slow without any other customers in the restaurant. The atmosphere was good and the kid friendly. The prawns starter was good but the chicken starter (malai kabab) was saltless and tasteless. The chicken coriander soup was a disaster. Fried rice and garlic chicken was absolutely average. Restaurant wise the price was OK but we were disappointed with the taste of the food after hearing so much hype about this restaurant on social media. I ordered food from here earlier on Zomato but the food was not this average earlier. Overall, quite disappointed with the service and average taste of the food. A terrible experience. I'm not someone who start creating scene I'm the spot but I went here after seeing the reviews, thought of sharing mine. They served me a chicken dish with bad smell, no wonder they took it back after realizing that we eat fresh. And a dal makahni they call it, I find tarka dal generally served in dhabas. The lady at the end explaining that it was not bad instead the smell was of something which is definitely trying to defend them. But thank god I don't see it in my bill. I may not visit here any further unless other restaurant in burdwan refuses me to serve 😀 but here are few lession for others. Lession for the waiters, if you don't have something fresh don't serve it. Lession for people who will visit the restaurant, please ask if they have something fresh and serve that. At last for the management, don't go harsh to the waiters. It's a learning curve...

Soo this is one of the most nearby restaurant from my house and i just frequently visits their for last 3-4 years..its been a friendly environment..i must say that the food quality has tremendously improved and I fell in love with the dishes and behavior is very good along with nice ambience..i had went their with my family, friends and also took delivery..we rely on their services..love it.. must visit as it is situated just beside...
