We were on a road trip to Mysore and had started from Chennai at 8 A.M. and so we planned on having lunch at Bangalore on the way. We had taken the NICE road to connect Mysore Road and were on the lookout for some Non Veg restaurants and we spied this place.
Its on the main road, so locating is quite easy and the Nameboard also entices you by saying Coastal, Andhra. You can park on the side of the road and the attendant would also help in finding a parking spot.
It looks like a typical Andhra restaurant with an open seating plan with a Banana Leaf keept ready before each seat. They also have separate bathrooms for Men and Women so you could also find relief on that score.
There were 3 of us and we ordered the Natu Kozli Biriyani, Chicken Biriyani, Meals, Lemon Chicken and their supposed speciality Ghee Roast Chicken. We were left to our own after that and we were quite agitated when people who came after us were being served their Biriyanis. When nearly half an hour had passed we enquired with our waiter and he said that our side dishes were being prepared and hence the delay.
Both the Biriyanis were quite different. Each cooked with a different rice and the quantity was more than enough for 1 person. The lemon chicken was quite good, boneless and with just a tang from the lemon. The Ghee Roast was too heavy for our stomach but went well with the meal. The prices are also not exhorbitant and the taste was OK.
If you have a lot of time to kill you can order the side dishes, otherwise just go for their Biriyanis or meals and you can make a faster exit if you...
Read moreWorst behaviour of the staff We went on a dinner with my friends we went around 7:50-7:55 we ordered our food and had , everything was going well the staff who was taking order and serving us food was behaving good till then, we paid our bill and was having some conversation among us because we had somthing to discuss and it was raining outside suddenly the staff came and told us to leave he told other customers are waiting but when i looked around more than half of the tables were empty seriously!! He told us to vacate the table i dont know why but i think that is way too rude to say to the customer it is customers choice they have right to stay there for howmuch ever time they want to they have paid for the food . It was seriously disgusting. I called him and asked why he told us to leave when there was so much place for other to sit he said that was his area he was serving that area and you guys are simply sitting for 2 hrs seriosly time at that moment was exactly 9:18 they took 1 hr to bring our food we took like half and hour to finish it after the table was cleaned not even more than 20 mins had gone and he told us to leave. Sadly non other staff came when he was talking rudely to us instead he went to the cashier and was talking some rubbish about us . Unexpectedly disappointed . Never goona go back there . We have paid for everything we have to pay for and getting this kind of insult is...
Read moreI am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience regarding the party hall booking. As a loyal and repeat customer who has successfully hosted two previous events at your venue, I expected a certain standard of professionalism and courtesy in handling our booking inquiry.
Despite showing clear interest and following up regarding the hall availability, we were neither informed nor asked for confirmation before the hall was allotted to another customer for the same date we had enquired about. The manager implied that the date was being held for us, yet no communication was made before finalizing another booking. This lack of transparency and professionalism was quite unexpected and unacceptable.
If prioritizing business and revenue was the concern, a simple confirmation request from our side would have sufficed. Instead, the handling of the situation displayed poor judgment and a lack of professional ethics.
I hope you take this feedback seriously and work towards improving your customer handling processes in the future, especially with...
