My family and I recently visited the Kadamba outlet on the B’lore-Mysore highway, expecting the same quality and service we've come to associate with the Kadamba chain. Unfortunately, our experience was nothing short of a nightmare.

From the moment we walked in, it was evident that something was amiss. Despite the limited crowd, the service was shockingly slow. Our encounter with the guy who took orders with a sulking face who carried an tablet, who seemed to be handling all the tables single-handedly, was beyond belief. Not only was he arrogant and dismissive, but his rudeness towards our queries was unacceptable. He was rude and when we asked him why it took so long to take orders he gave rude back answers and was not at all customer friendly ! Get him off the job, if he doesn’t know how to greet people and respond to queries ! Doesn’t even provide menu and argues to the extent to say order quick and never returns to take orders! And the amount of ego he carries around!

The food itself was a disaster. Everything, from the chutney to the dosa batter, tasted off and bitter to the core, as if it had been prepared hours ago and left to sit. This level of quality is simply unacceptable, especially for a renowned chain like Kadamba. The worst kadamba experience we as a family ever had !

What added insult to injury was the archaic payment system. He argued that they didn’t have any digital payment pathways! Like come on every small business this day, has digital pathways of payment ! In this digital age, it's inconceivable that a restaurant of this size and stature wouldn't have digital payment options available.

Overall, our experience at Kadamba on the B’lore-Mysore highway was utterly disappointing. Not only did it fail to meet our expectations, but it also tarnished the reputation of the Kadamba brand. We left feeling frustrated and bewildered, vowing...

We recently visited Kadamba Vegetarian Restaurant, and our experience was truly delightful from start to finish. Right from the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the neat, clean, and well-maintained ambiance of the place. The interiors were simple yet welcoming, and the overall atmosphere felt calm and relaxing — perfect for enjoying a good meal with friends or family without any disturbances or rush. We decided to try their Masala Puri, Bhel Puri, and Watermelon Juice, and all three items exceeded our expectations. The Masala Puri was served fresh, with perfectly crisp puris topped generously with flavorful masala, chutneys, and garnishes that gave it a rich and authentic taste. The Bhel Puri had the perfect balance of crunchiness and tanginess, and each bite was bursting with flavors. It felt very fresh and light, and the portion size was just right too. The Watermelon Juice was incredibly refreshing, chilled to perfection, and served without any added artificial sweetness, which made it even better and more natural in taste. One thing that stood out during our visit was the excellent service. The order-taking girl was extremely polite, attentive, and helpful, patiently answering our questions and even giving good suggestions. Overall, Kadamba Vegetarian Restaurant offers great food, a clean and pleasant environment, and truly warm service — we would definitely love to visit again and recommend...

Location and seating capacity are prime value points which makes this restaurant special. Strategically located just after the Nice Road Exit and just before the Mysore expressway, This is the only break point available if you don't want to get into service roads on the express way! So, obviously you can expect a lot of crowds in peak hours on weekends. But, they have a huge seating capacity as well as decent parking facility around to address this huge phenomena on weekends. The ambience is good with nice art work on the walls. Wooden furniture and tables will give a rustic look and the huge space will make sure you'll get tables even on a busy day. Hygiene can be improved as I found plenty of houseflies flying around. When I visited, there wasn't much of a crowd. But still, the service was kind of sloppy. They changed my table once and took time to attend to me. Food is good. I ordered Masal Dosa and Vada. Both were good but Vada felt like re-fried. Compared to other good restaurants on the Mysore Highway, this place scores above average when it comes to the quality of food. When I visited this place, they were not accepting UPI payments but they accepted card payment. Just make sure you have desired digital payment facility or cash before ordering. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for the sake of it's location and massive seating capacity. -BeingBakasura
