I have had mixed experiences at this bakery. While their half-kg cakes are quite good, my experience with ordering larger cakes was disappointing. I ordered a 5kg chocolate forest cake, expecting the rich chocolate flavor and presentation they are known for. However, what I received was vastly different: a cake mostly covered in white cream with very little chocolate. It looked like a white forest cake rather than chocolate.

I contacted the bakery and sent them a photo of the cake, but their response was dismissive, stating they would inform the chef without any further resolution. This was frustrating, as I felt my complaint was not taken seriously.

Given this experience, I would recommend considering other bakeries like Amma’s or Just Bake, which have a better track record for quality control and customer satisfaction. Don’t be misled by the initial good experiences with smaller cakes; the quality may not be consistent with larger orders.

My frank experience with la heaven,Owners(prajwal)are very sweet while interacting and taking the order,they make sure that they provide you the best of services, staff who do the background work need a lot of improvement. i would give them a thumbs up for the 5kg black forest cake that they made with a whole hearted effort to get the cake cut into equal amount of pieces of 30 each per 1kg,that was some fabulous work,really appreciate it. But we had a separate 2kg order for a photo cake with the mickey mouse picture art on it which was not at all up to any sort of expectations that were set, being the first birthday cake for my kid made it even more a sore experience for us. Order was taken and we were explained of what the cake would look like but it did not fulfill the expectations when we got the cake for real. This is a start up and there is a room for lot of improvement,so i do not want to discourage them at any cost. my rating would be 4 with a scope for lot of improvement...

I have ordered a 4kg red velvet cake customized for my 1st daughters birthday. The cake was awesome and as it is explained and expected. The taste was rich and the look was also the same as the online pic. People in the shop were quite nice and helped us to choose the cake design. During delivery the girl's fondant leg broke and the delivery team fixed the girl's leg somehow. Other than that everything was nice. One thing to keep in mind for buyers, normal cake price is reasonable but customized cake cost is higher than expected and plus additional cost price for design is unexpected. Normal red velvet cake 1 kg is 1000 but customized is 1400 per kg and additional design cost is 400 plus delivery 300, so we paid 6300 instead of 4300 for the design(we could have got extra 2 kg cake for that price) . Buyers kindly ask for the split up of the price before you buy and there is no tasting cake for the cake your order so you have to buy and taste...
