Friends usually I don't review any restaurant as I do understand the teething problems any outlet opens definitely faces.But this time I felt indeed to write a review. Happen to be at electronic city and visited Makaw which has opened recently went to have lunch. Not very busy Place with the kind of seating they have. The hostess told us to go to the ff and there was no one to seat us so we took a table closer to the road facing but the table was for 4 and we where 2 of us. After making ourselves comfortable the server comes and says that we need to shift as the table is reserved but we didn't see any signage kept on the table,but he insisted that maybe the restaurant will fill up then he will be needing the table, I told him let's see when your guests arrive then we will see but till we finished our lunch no one came We had ordered some starters and main course, as soon as the food came I was shocked to see the chutney bowl is chipped and not only that the plate given to us was chipped too. Being from hospitality industry I couldn't resist but speak with the server about the same where he casually replied that only in 5star hotels they don't serve on a chipped plates rest all places it's fine, and very casually he said if we want he can change it i said NO. Anyway when the main course came it was same thing . Food was average will give 2 out of 5 ad it was not at all flavourful and the chicken was salty

Beverage we ordered bloody Mary that also didn't had the celery stick and both the drinks tasted different 2 out of 5 I Will give

Service I will give 1 out of 5 as I can't stand a very casual approach towards the guest's by the team. So over all experience will be 1.5 out of 5 Hope they improve in coming days. All...

I visited this newly opened restaurant on Sunday Jun 18th, for having a birthday lunch along with my friends. The restaurant location is great having placed on 4th Floor and this place is huge with ample seating space and a good atmosphere. We had a reservation and our seating zone was on the upper deck, giving a very perfect view of the EC flyover. We started our orders with some drinks (non-alcoholic), and though the options were limited, all of the drinks were nice. Now comes the scary part, we placed the order for food both veg and non-veg items, and then from where the real pain started of waiting and waiting... We were receiving one food item in every next half an hour interval, the crew was slow to respond on queries, they were just saying the kitchen is busy, even for normal order of 2 water bottles, it took 15 minutes for them to get that, we needed some cutlery, it took another 15-20 minutes and then it was the entry of one food item with hairs on it and that was it, we were there for 3 hours , only 3-4 food items tried and tasted because of their slow service and we were done. We asked them to cancel the remaining order and got the cheque and done, our pre-birthday lunch and our moods both were spoiled. Sorry guys, but we expected much more than this kind of service from your end. We can understand that as a new one, you might be facing some challenges for the weekend crowd, but still you could have done better, it's not about quantity but quality always. Though, we hope you do great ahead and maybe someday on future I will edit this to 5 star, but for now 1 star for the location, 1 star for the ambience, 1 star for the drinks, that's...

This has come up in Hosur Road stretch where good joints for Night life are less or none. Ambience : Again a place which you would enjoy if you visit in the evening to see the thoughtfully designed place( in lights) in a minimal budget. There is live music on the ground which has upper floors on both sides( 1 for smoking and the other for Non-smoking)... You will also enjoy movement of vehicles if you sit in non smoking zone.

Food - We tried Indian food with appetizers like Chimichuri Chicken Tikka kabab,Paneer Ghee Roast, corn and cheese spring roll. We liked the food that we had. It was tasty.

Alcohol - We ordered craft beers like Toit wheat Beer and Budweiser as they don't have brewery now. Toit beer is definitely expensive as you have just 300 ML glass option. We also tasted Liit cocktail which was decent( can get better to reach Social standards)

Service - Very poor as the waiter had no clue on how to expedite the service. Each glass of beer order took 15-20 min( that too after couple of follow ups) Later we had another gentleman, Imal Pradhan helping us from BTM Stories made us comfortable with his super quick service.

They also have a separate Karaoke room for a group of 20+ people and a Special screening room where they can watch IPL or any other matches.

Overall slightly higher on cost for those who try variety of liquors considering where it is located, however worth for those who try variety of food options. Definitely worth...
