I would actually give around 3.5 stars but as Google doesn't allow that, so giving it a 4.
I went to this place after reading a lot of 5 star reviews but came back with a mixed feedback. Let me give the positives and negatives.
Positives: Chat items are very good when comparing with other sweet shops in Bangalore. I just couldn't find any shop in Bangalore (including Anand sweets and the likes) which would make authentic chat items but thankfully I found this. As I am writing the review, I am craving again to eat their papdi chat. In addition to papdi chat, I also had aloo tikki. I won't say that it was among the best I have ever eaten but it was very good indeed. Just for these 2 things, I would surely visit them again.
Negatives: First and foremost is the service staff. They always seem lost in some thoughts. As a result, they don't pay attention to what you ask them. Nor they reply back properly when asked something. The person on the billing counter was good, but again, the service staff really needs to wake up.
Then was non-availability of all items at all times. I wanted to eat Chole Bhature but it was not available when I went. I went there in the evening. I was told that its only available at around afternoon. But in afternoon chat items are not available. This is unacceptable as I can't make multiple visits just to eat things I want.
Then again in chat items, bhalla chat wasn't available. While I was present there, they just had received the raw materials for it. I was told that bhalla chat would take another 1 hour to prepare.
I also tasted some of the sweets but couldn't find them good enough for my liking. They were decent in taste but were missing the richness that I was expecting.
In all, the place is surely worth a visit for few things, but...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreFood is very good. However, if you eat at the outlet, you will enjoy. Else, if you get it packed, you will not feel like giving it even 1 star. This is especially the case with chat, aloo tikki, raj kachori etc. These guys will pack your aloo tikki in such a manner that it will be soggy and horrible to taste. They mix super hot chhola, chutneys and curd together which makes the curd also very hot and it somehow feels like the curd gets cooked in the chhole. Curd will disappear completely. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Horrible taste.
It is a request to the owner that you please teach your staff to pack food properly. This is no way to pack and send . Today after ordering aloo tikki, I feel like I should never again order. Despite telling your people to pack separately, they do what...
