I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sri Mahalakshmi Sweets in Bengaluru and purchasing some of their famous kaju barfi. The shop was bustling with activity, and the air was filled with the sweet aroma of delicious Indian sweets. I was immediately struck by the wide variety of sweets available, including everything from traditional Mysore pak to more modern fusion treats.
I decided to order a box of kaju barfi, which is a popular Indian sweet made with cashews, sugar, and ghee. The kaju barfi at Sri Mahalakshmi Sweets is known for its rich flavor and creamy texture. The cashews are perfectly roasted and ground, and the sugar is added in just the right amount to create a sweet and delicate flavor. The ghee adds a richness and creaminess to the barfi that is simply irresistible.
I took a bite of the kaju barfi and was immediately transported to heaven. The barfi was perfectly sweet and creamy, and the cashew flavor was rich and decadent. I could tell that the barfi was made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the care and attention to detail was evident in every bite.
I finished my box of kaju barfi in no time, and I was already craving more. I highly recommend Sri Mahalakshmi Sweets to anyone looking for delicious and authentic Indian sweets. The kaju barfi is a must-try, but be warned: it's addictive!
In addition to the kaju barfi, I also had the opportunity to try some of the other sweets at Sri Mahalakshmi Sweets. I was particularly impressed by the Mysore pak, which is a traditional Indian sweet made with gram flour, sugar, and ghee. The Mysore pak at Sri Mahalakshmi Sweets was perfectly cooked, with a rich and buttery flavor. I also enjoyed the laddoos, which are small, round sweets made with a variety of ingredients, including nuts, dried fruits, and sugar. The laddoos at Sri Mahalakshmi Sweets were perfectly sweet and moist, and they were packed with flavor.
Overall, I had a wonderful experience at Sri Mahalakshmi Sweets. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the sweets were delicious. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for authentic and high-quality...
Read moreThis is one of the worst sweet shops in bangalore. They tried to sell me old stock mysore pak which had some smell. I declined and bought special mysore pak and some kachoris. After eating them, I suffered with severe acidity, stomach ache and fever. I have suffered from upset stomach after eating from this shop on multiple occasions. Something is wrong. I don't know what kind of toxic ingredients they use. The mysore pak definitely didn't have ghee in it. I will never go back to this shop.
They also charge extra amount in bill if you don't pay attention. That old man at the counter will add GST multiple times and use other tactics to bill more amount than they should.
I don't...
Read moreI have been a loyal customer of Mahalakshmi sweets for more than 24 years now, purchasing their sweets and savouries. Their first branch was a small shop with limited sweets in Vidyaranipuram, Mysore. During festivals, we used to stand in queues to buy their sweets. Over the years, they have expanded their business enormously and now have outlets in Bangalore as well. Recently, I visited the Banashankari branch and bought coconut bharfi, which was not fresh and had a bad taste. I am not sure if they have compromised on the quality over the years or if this issue is only with the Bangalore branch. Nevertheless, I don't think I will buy sweets from Mahalakshmi sweets,...
