Café Review-> Green House Bistro at Jehan Numa Retreat I'm just going to say this outright -- BEST Café in Bhopal by a mile! Ambience - Ethereal is the word to describe this place, the indoor section is lit very well with nothing too bright making you feel cosy in an instant, it is brought alive by a wide array of plants that seem to engulf the place, a much welcome break from your typical brick & mortar interiors, which literally & figuratively freshen up the place. The outside is serene and surrounded the by the farm fresh produce that the café uses in all its products. Organic, Fresh, Local are the keywords. Service - The servers are Prompt in attending to you and catering to your needs they are well mannered, polite and have a good understanding of all the items on the menu. Very lively, they do everything to make your experience that much more enjoyable. Adds just that little extra to your experience, but the difference between something ordinary and extraordinary is that little 'extra'. Food - Delectable, I've tried their Black Bun Mutton Burger, Vegetarian Club Sandwich, Margherita Pizza, Mexican toast and the Orange ginger juice and I am delighted to tell you for the life of me I cannot find fault with any of them. A special mention must be given to the Black Bun Burger and the Margherita Pizza, the burger is BANG ON what a good burger is supposed to be it's messy it's big, the mutton patty is insanely juicy the bacon strips do wonders and they are topped with very cheesy aioli. The Pizza just oozes freshness, the dough is that perfect balance between crunchy and chewy which is the first marker of a really good pizza, if I HAD to be pedantic and nitpick I'd say this - The Margherita pizza was created for Queen Margherita to represent the three colours in the Italian national flag so I think they should make their sauce little more red, right now it's like a deep orange. Final Verdict:- Jehan Numa have hit the ball out of the park with this one, dare I say they haven't put a step wrong. The price at which you are getting all this Quality is something to note, a meal for two may cost north of ₹800, which believe me is incredible value for money. Cheers. :) PS, apologies for the slightly blurry couple of photos, was quite inebriated on my first visit😅

Gorgeous! The first thing that came to my mind as soon as I stepped into the bistro was wow! This place is so beautiful. With its aesthetically done interiors, minimalistic design, thoughtful use of lighting and the sprawling backyard garden, this bistro is a must visit for anyone and everyone. I went there on a December night, for a casual dinner with friends and I was awestruck by the view. The place was nestled in a quaint corner, inside the bespoke Jehan Numa Bhopal. The cafe was quiet with only a small number of tables to accommodate the guests. But that did not bother me at all. In fact, I liked it that they serve a limited number of guests. Because the peaceful ambience added to its allure. The backyard garden seemed quite interesting for clicking some pictures and on my insistence the staff allowed me a quick walk inside the area. I couldn't spot many vegetables distinctly, as the place was dim-lit. But the view of the bistro from the garden was nothing less than magical. Talking about food, their preparations rank high on the 'eat healthy' parameter, with a more continental appeal. Since it's a bistro, the menu was limited but not at all disappointing. For a food lover like me, there were quite a few interesting offerings in Pizzas, Pastas and Salads. For the beer lovers, the place offers some good beers to choose from. In short, the place is now on my go-to list and I will definitely go there again, whenever I visit Bhopal again.

🌿 Beautiful Place, Terrible Staff, Extremely Disappointed We visited Greenhouse Bistro, Jehan Numa. The café is absolutely stunning serene, beautifully designed, and full of charm but the staff completely ruined the experience. The attitude of both the lady staff member and the manager was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. We requested a plain pancake without syrup or sugar for our baby. Despite explaining clearly, they served it drenched in syrup and refused to make any changes. We had ordered pizza, two cappuccinos, and juice. Still, the lack of basic hospitality overshadowed everything. Poor service ruins the entire experience, no matter how aesthetic the place is. A beautiful café like this deserves better staff. Definitely not returning. The lady and the manager were the main reason our afternoon was ruined. They were rude and completely unmannered. What’s worse, they served food outside to other customers, but refused the same to us without any explanation. I don’t understand why they were so unprofessional and disrespectful toward there customers.
