I recently visited this dhaba that pops up on the list when you search for must-try dhabas in Chandigarh, especially since my favorite musician has also been there, so it was definitely on my radar. The ambiance is average—it doesn’t scream dhaba vibes—but the staff was welcoming and eager to share the menu. The food is pure North Indian, and you really get the authentic Punjabi feel from the offerings. We decided to try some of their specialties: lemon paneer and butter chicken. It took a little while for the food to arrive, but the first thing I noticed was the generous portions. 8/10 - The lemon paneer looked delicious and was something different from what we usually have. It was smooth and creamy, topped with a tadka that gave it a rich, appetizing look. However, it could have had a little less of that lemony kick for my taste. 6/10 - Next up was the butter chicken with naan. Unfortunately, it didn’t have the distinct flavor I was hoping for from such a well-known dhaba—it was more like your average butter chicken. They could definitely work on making it thicker and more flavorful. On the plus side, the staff was attentive and quick to accommodate my requests, even helping me pack up what we couldn’t finish. Overall, it was a nice experience with a dhaba-style extensive menu. I’d love to come back and try more dishes to get a better sense of what they offer!

**Hairy Lemon Chicken Alert** Deluxe Dhaba was one of the most suggested places in Chandigarh for their speciality Lemon Chicken. So without a next thought, we headed here for lunch on the first day of our vacation. Though there was only one table occupied when we entered, we kept the suggestions of fellow foodies in mind and went ahead. We settled ourselves and ordered a lemon chicken boneless (half portion) and a couple of tandoori rotis. The food arrived quick and we dug into it. The chicken chunks were big and were cooked in a tandoor. The gravy was made predominantly of cream and had few sightings of tomato and green chilli. The dish didn't pack the punch that I expected from a dhaba that was rated so high. The tang of the lemon was absent and it needed an extra boost from the lemons that were provided. The rotis were soft and perfectly cooked. The biggest turn off in this whole meal was us finding a STRAND OF HAIR in the lemon chicken. The hair was in the lower layers of the dish and was only spotted after we ate almost half of it! When shown it the person at the bill counter, he swiftly got the dish removed and remained silent. We couldn't eat the hairy food anymore and decided to leave. He didn't bother replacing the dish in the least. We left more than half of the food. P.S- Wish could give 0 star.

Hard to find dal and roti in the time of cheese and pizza? Try this place, never a disappointment. A great satisfaction with delicious and quality food. Dhaba is just a cover, inside the restaurant is really nice and hygienic. So many varieties of food are served here. Dal makhani is lovely. This is a must try place for all the people living in tricity. Specially non veg lovers - I’ve had at least 4-5 variety of chicken in snacks and then in main course - it was 4 types of chicken - including lemon chicken. For veg people - paneer tikka and mushroom tikka is a must try ❤️

If you are one of those who likes the fine dine setting, then this place is not for you.

Deluxe Dhaba is one of those places where the food is the main attraction. Having said that, the seating and cleanliness is not too bad, something that you would find at a typical 'modern' Dhaba outlet.

A random Zomato search got me to this place. We were a bunch of friends looking to satisfy our bellies after a session of two of drinking and partying. There wasn't much crowd at the place, which made me question my decision of coming to the Dhaba. But boy did the food slammed those doubts out of the park.😂

Coming to the food, we ordered the butter chicken, dal fry, tandoori roti, mushroom matar(for a friend who's a vegetarian). Being from Delhi, I can say that the butter chicken was really good and went well in combination with the dal and the roti. One of us wanted to try the mutton, so we ordered the lemon mutton. I'm so glad we did that. This dish was thr show stopper and left us reminiscing it's taste even after a day or two. At first look, it looked like Kadhi Pakoda with mutton in it. But it wasn't nowhere near that. The taste was nothing like anything I have had before. You have to try it to enjoy it.

The bill was nowhere close to what I was expecting for people who have had such amazing and huge amount of food. The quantity served is really good and the taste is really awesome. I guess such places where the food is the show stopper do deserve more customers. The service was...
