The ambience is great. Whenever I am in Daman for work, I visit Veera's Dhaba for lunch / dinner (almost since 2016). Earlier, till about 2 years back food quality and taste was supern. However, since end 2023, I find a deterioration in food quality, taste (and even quantity served per plate) as well as service at Veera's Dhaba. The original taste of rural punjab (for which the dhaba was known for and travelling executives like me used to find excuse to visit Veera's Dhaba) is going down. The food is becoming more like a typical Punjabi restaurant in Mumbai or Pune. Dal Makhani, which used to be so creamy at one time has gone completely bland and has become tasteless. Signature dishes of one time like Lasooni Methi, Methi Malai now taste more like a road side small restaurants.
May be commercialization of place with thronging visitors and heavy rush has taken toll. It may be possible that more focus has shifted towards banquets and large gatherings, hence even though ambiance and vibes are maintained, food quality has gone down.
Another disturbing factor I have noticed is the quality of service at Veera's Dhaba, which also has gone down as well. Some of the waiters have become very arogant and refuse to accept their mistakes, sometime quality of utensils is also found to be not upto the mark.
I am sure such a candid feedback from one of the regular guests to Veera's Dhaba will be taken seriously by management and they would work towards improvement in food quality as well as service.
Overall the ambiance, vibe of this place is very good. When you visit this place, you feel as if you are visiting those famed dhabas at Murthal near Delhi. There is something for everyone at this Dhaba. Kids and families love the place. There are plenty of selfie points at Dhaba (almost every inch of Dhaba is a selfie points).
Everything is very good. If management can take necessary steps to improve food quality to some extent and improve service to old levels (have to take care of few arogant staff and service quality will improve), Veera's Dhaba will again get 5 star rating from me and other...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jagjits Veera Dhaba in Daman, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. This humble dhaba exceeded my expectations in every way, serving up some of the most delicious and authentic North Indian cuisine I've had the pleasure of enjoying.
Punjab Village Theme As soon as we stepped inside, we were transported to a traditional Punjab village, complete with rustic decor, vibrant colors, and lively music. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with friendly staff dressed in traditional attire adding to the authentic feel.
Standout Dishes We tried a variety of dishes, each one more impressive than the last. The Mutton Kebab was tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, with a beautiful char on the outside. The Kadhai Paneer was rich and creamy, with a perfect balance of spices and a generous helping of paneer. The Dal Makhni was comforting and flavorful, with a beautiful texture and a depth of flavor that was just incredible. And for dessert, the Jalebi with Rabdi was the perfect sweet treat, with crispy, sugary jalebis served with a side of creamy, sweet rabdi.

Read moreWhere do I start. Oh my God, this place was heaven. It's just like that one place that you need to go to unlock your inner child and inner dancer. I have never been been more open and free than here. I being Mishti Sanghani, a 11 year old who loves traveling and exploring. Back to Veera's Dhaba. The entire place had statues of Gujarat's women and their daily life activities and so. Along with that, there are lots and lots of lights and different statues who are maybe playing marbles, or dancing, or cooking.. It's super beautiful and a go to for anyone who wants a real experience. Oh and also, there is live dhol (indian drums) and a place to dance, which is right in the centre of the entire place. The food is obviously finger licking and super yummy, but beware, the servings are huge. One bowl of Subzi is enough for 8 people. So order slowly. And don't forget, after some active dancing and dhol, there is live singing, which is usually slow Hindi songs. You can vibe, or you can also just eat, sleep, repeat. Along with the place being super photogenic, the lights and statues are super friendly and you can take crazy and unique photos with them. Other than that, there are also other food or drink stalls, which we didn't explore but you can. You can also explore the pet area and the play area for kids. There is also a Turkish ice-cream stall, super fun and tasty, great dessert! Incase you are too much, the bathrooms are also clean and good, so don't be scared of lizards or cockroaches. So yeh, visit this place, it's...
