Baraamda — Restaurant in Dadri

Visited this restaurant yesterday based on the reviews. The reviews already said about slow service and average food. But considering this as subjective and the high review count and rating, at least a visit was necessary to be paid.

On arrival there, the place showcased a calm ambience and waiters were polite and supportive in getting you seated down and also comforting while you stood in waiting area.

The hunger was inflated and the expectations were mounting up and then came the horrible part. Ordered one veg platter and 2 mocktails. Mocktails were average and warm, nothing special about them but that is fine. Veg platter was extremely spicy. I have a spicy appetite but this platter literally gave me tongue bites and acid refluxes (later on). And it was not just me but other people experienced the same. Even the mint chutney had red chilli sprayed in it. I don't know why they didn't tell if it was going to be top notch spicy. This is still considerable as some dishes at some place might have different spice levels.

Then we ordered baraamda special dal makhni and baraamda special paneer along with garlic naan. And this is the time it came as a shocker. Food appeared stale and cooked over again and again. It can be easily told as old food thickens quite quickly. And the hotness is not evenly spread across and in and out of food. Paneer was stale and was tasing and smelling bad. We couldn't even finish even half garlic naan with such stale and bad smelling food. Will never visit this place again. I don't know what standards people have who can have this kind of food. The prices are competitive but who wants to eat bad smelling and stale food for competitive prices or even for free!!??

And to confirm, the service was extremely slow as well, as already read in reviews. As one example, I ordered ice for a warm mocktail that I was having and it came while I was on the verge of...

We read their promotional breakfast offer on Facebook and decided to go for it. We were extremely disappointed firstly by the place, secondly by the quality of food and thirdly by their service.

The Ambience Don't get fooled by the pictures. The place is very dirty, the rooftop may seem to have a lot of plantation but most of the plants are dead and dry. Furniture isn't even clean. Their stuff is lying everywhere and looks unhygienic. It just looks like an ignored unused terrace in our houses where you keep random stuff and suddenly decide to organize a party. Rooftops are meant to be beautiful and clean. Just putting lots of fairy lights is not a solution. Everything requires maintainence!

The Food and Service Now obviously, we shouldn't expect much for n unlimited Breakfast Buffet at just Rs. 100. But we deserved a better quality. The food served was very cold and it took a lot of time for refills. Their buffet containers were mostly empty and people had to wait for a long time. There were only 2 guys handling the service for a lot of people. They could have planned the event better and provided a faster service.

The only good thing was the live music but honestly, you expect a breakfast to be quieter or sit an eat to gentle music. If somebody sings old hits loud in the morning hours, the vibe is totally gone! It was more like a private birthday party.

For me, such a promotional event is a disaster and I pledge to never go back and ever fall into this promo trap. No pictures for obvious reasons. There was nothing worth clicking.

I hope the owner reads of it and tries to improve...

Perfect fit for Baraamda.

I organised a birthday party for 35 people and service was pathetic. I have been to this place many time in past but in their restaurant area which is just fine. They don't have staff to manage two roof tops and the Manager was rude. Would not like to name him. My guest had to wait for 20 min for piece of bread and Curry and when we gave the feedback to the manager, he literally shouted on us in front of other customers. He did shouted on my father just because he complained as he lost his temper listening to all excuses. Manager was disrespectful to a senior citizen. Package was expensive . We had to run behind the staff to get the plates to serve the starters.This caused delays and guest lost the interest and never asked for the starters again though it was unlimited. They tried hard to supply less stuff. They promised to give two desserts but gave only one till we asked for the second one. They were waiting for an opportunity for us to forget as we were busy. Same staff was cleaning the tables, getting the stuff from the kitchen and serving us. Imagine one person for 35 guest. Everything was over priced from food package, Game coordinator, Tattoo maker, decoration.

Visit this place only if you don't have a choice and that too their dining area. Don't organise any large scale party there.

Highly disappointing. Would never visit this place again and would encourage my knowns not to visit or...
