Flourmates Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Dadri

I discovered this cafe while looking for options near my home to meet a friend. My preferred option is usually very crowded on Sundays, and it was extremely hot today, so laziness combined with the amazing pictures online and an interesting menu took us to Flourmates.

The cafe had a nice, relaxed vibe to it. I wanted to place the order at the counter instead of going through their app, as it requires a phone number. Surprisingly, the server said the menu wasn't updated in their console, so we would have to order through the app.

We ordered a pepperoni pizza, a chicken and bacon salad, and two mint lemonades. The beverages were quite average. The lemonades in coffee glasses made it appear grossly exorbitant. In this weather, we would have preferred a larger glass with a generous quantity of lemonade. Plus, they need to work on consistency. We ordered two mint lemonades, and both were a different shade of green. :)

The pepperoni pizza tasted as ordinary as it looked. I am neither a fan of pepperoni slices being cut and sprinkled, nor do I love healthy pizza breads. Perhaps they should consider offering a choice of bread. Pepperoni and cheese are already quite unhealthy, and the bread isn't doing much for health.

By now, our expectations had reduced significantly, but the salad was a big redeemer. It had generous amounts of chicken and bacon, and it tasted delicious. My friend decided to try the blueberry cheesecake, and that too was well-baked.

Overall, it's a decent cafe that needs to add some enthusiasm to its staff and options to its menu. I may prefer driving a bit further to reach my...

This place has a lot of potential. First the positives:

Lovely decor and ambience. Great service The spicy chicken sandwich was very good. The strawberry shake was the best.

However, there are some points of improvement:

The Eggs Benedict Croissant: I was very sceptical about the eggs benedict. Simply because just to be fancy a lot of cafes put this in the menu, but do not know one of the basics of an eggs benedict.... The runny yolk. I expressed my apprehension to the gentleman at the counter and he assured me that it would live up to my expectations. But alas, the same issue.... The yolk wasn't runny at all. Although I have no problems with the taste of the dish, which was very good, the experience of an eggs benedict was lost. Cafes should not just put this in the menu without knowing how to make this well or without assuming that the consumer does not know about these things. I was offered to change the dish, but I didn't want this to go to waste and thus did not send it back.

The chicken sandwich was great, but when we were asked what bread we wanted we categorically said Focaccia. However, we were served sourdough. So what's the point of asking if you are not going to keep that in mind?

All in all, this place has great potential. But they should just keep to the regular cafe items without trying to be fancy with dishes the chefs don't know how...

We recently had a really frustrating experience at Flourmates Bakery in Sector 116, Noida, and we think it’s worth sharing. First, we asked for cold drinks, only to be told they don’t serve them—no reason given. However, when the waiter mentioned they had a "party pack" with cold drinks, we thought there might be a misunderstanding. Turns out, they did have cold drinks in stock, but the owner lady refused to serve them unless we purchased the more expensive beverages she was pushing. She even tried to make customers feel shallow for not paying extra for drinks.

To make matters worse, we ordered a hand-tossed pizza, but they brought us a thin crust instead. When we pointed this out, the head chef, Abuda, came over, and rather than offering an apology or explanation, he arrogantly bragged about his 10+ years of experience and even told us not to write a review on Google. He was completely dismissive and unprofessional.

The food was mediocre at best, but the worst part was the attitude. We’ve never experienced such poor customer service. It’s clear that they don’t care about feedback or customer satisfaction. We won’t be returning, and we’d suggest you save yourself the trouble and find somewhere...
