Some how I am very fond of McDonald's. Whenever I get an opportunity I just bang into an outlet for a quick bite. My most favourite happens to be chicken burger or McPuff, iced tea, softy cone etc. Since I live in Noida I frequently visit the McDonald's outlet in Sector 16, housed in Savoy Suites. I have special liking for this particular branch as it is not too crowded and allows me sit quietly in one corner with my family and enjoy the grub. MacDonald's is a the best option when you are on the move as it serves you decent and hygienic food which is freshly cooked in front of you. What impresses me most is the honesty of material, quality of product, cleanliness, freshness and hygiene with which the food is served by McDonald's to you and that too at a price which is very affordable. There is no reason for me to write in favour of McDonald's or be biased towards it but this is just my personal experience that I have developed fondness for it over years. Try for yourself. Go to any small or budget eatery and buy something for a quick bite. I can bet that you will not find anything reliabe, fresh and tasty at a price that matches McDonald's. Also, there is no guarantee that the food that you are buying is freshly cooked or not, freshly packed or not, the material used in preparation is of minimum standard or not and so on. At the same time if you ask the owner of the eatery about the quality and standard he will talk too high of himself. But when you are at McDonald's you can set all your worries aside and eat anything that suits your taste and budget with great trust. Telling a lie and selling off stale food is not very uncommon in our country and this is very unfortunate; I am sorry to say this but this is a fact. Of course, everyone wants to earn a profit but that cannot come at the cost of your or mine health; and unfortunately s lot of people in food business do exactly the same in India. What I regret most about McDonald's is lack of variety in their menu. What is served by them in India cannot be consumed by we people on a regular basis. I think McDonald's could expand its menu by adding some bakery food like good patties or pastries and 🍰 cakes too. It was better if if McDonald's could also 'Indianise' its menu to some extent and incorporate some Indian snacks or quick food items to suit our taste buds. Remember, be a Roman when in Rome! The same applies to McDonald's too. No doubt we Indians do like American food but we also expect some Indian goodies. If done so it will definitely change the fortunes of McDonald's in India. Try!
