Sheroes Hangout Cafe — Restaurant in Dadri

Sheroes cafe is managed and staffed by acid attack survivors. Most of the smiling women working in the venue, founded by Chhanv Foundation in 2014, have visibly scarred skin, some bearing damaged eyes, others appearing as if their entire faces have been melted by the horrifying acts of violence.

The cafe -- which also has a Help Desk for the survivors of acid attack has provided them with more than just employment, a sense of community and a team of good hearted people who can ease their struggles. It has also given them the confidence to face society without shame, while learning valuable career skills.

People from all walks of life, including former Italian prime minister Paolo Gentiloni Silveri and German First Lady Elke Büdenbender, visited the Agra restaurant and promised to help sustain it.

🗾 Located inside the Noida Stadium campus, this small Cafe joint is powered by various NGOs and government and run/for the Acid Attack survivor sisters.

😋 Taste and food, both should not be undermined as the quality is at par with any such Cafe you may have experienced.

🥣 Serving sizes are really good.

🪑 Seating space is limited but, you know you're inside the stadium campus and hence, you'll find various spots to munch at your ease.

We celebrated my friend’s birthday over their and it was very heart-warming, the staff was very welcoming and we ordered many-many food dishes like- coffee, chilli potato, veg noodles, veg Manchurian, chilli paneer, paneer tikka roll and many other dishes. All the dishes were satisfying but the service we get from the staff was like we were in enjoying his bday in home.
