Dasaprakash - Modi Mall — Restaurant in Dadri

So we have been regular customers of this place since the day it has opened. Until last few visits our experience of food was good, but since last 2-3 visits, the place is getting unhygenic day by day- major mosquitoes issue, smelly tables/sitting area. We were served water, which had plastic and dirty glasses. Staff doesnt wear gloves kr maintaines utensil hygiene at all. We ordered Ghee Podi Dosa, Masala Dosa, south indian khichdi and Hakka Noodles. The sambhar was uncooked completely, khichdi wasnt cooked in ghee and no nuts to be found in it as described in the menu. When we complained this to the manager, he laughed and said this is how sambhar is, we dont serve bangalore taste sambhar here. As if this was our first time eating sambhar here! We asked him to compensate for Plastic water, and bad sambhar, to which he said we cant do anythinf for it. The manager was shown the picture we took of the glass, which he immediately deleted & said that u cnt complain now. This created a heated conversation and luckily my mother also took a picture in her phone!After a long conversation,manager agreed to his mistakes and compensated by giving 10% discount n packed another dosa for us. We left the dosa packet at counter mistakenly n when we went back to pick it up, the manager and staff were discussing how they shouldnt have given discount to us. I had a horrible experience with this restaurant. On 11th September, my family (7 people) went to this restaurant hoping to have a decent experience, but we did not know a terrible disappointment awaited us. The restaurant manager has kept the 1st-floor area reserved for some people, and we commoners do not have access to it. The ground floor is small, cramped, and noisy, and the seating is not comfortable for a group of 7 people. The ambiance is very college canteen-like and is not worth the high food price you are expected to pay. Most importantly, these guys have terrible service and were overwhelmed by the order of just three starters. The first two starters came on time, and the 3rd starter dish did not arrive after many minutes. We were waiting for over 20 minutes after the first two starters. Whenever I asked any waiter, they would simply say, please wait for 2 minutes. Finally, I had to ask the manager about the delay, and he said he would check, but he never came back and updated us. Then anticipating the possible delays and the fact that the overall dinner for a family of 7 people would have taken many (3-4) hours in this college canteen type restaurant, we had no option but to leave. Finally, these people think that customer is their "Das" or servants. It's far better to eat at the 2nd-floor food court in the Modi Mall (erstwhile Spice Mall) than this pathetic excuse of a restaurant. Big disappointment. Service and ambience were hugely lacking. Food is okay, nothing extraordinary.

I had heard much of this place from friends (probably visited other outlets of this chain), and I had seen some positive reviews about this place so I decided to gift a dinner to my parents on their anniversary at this place. What a big mistake it turned out to be.

Even after reserving our tables in advance, there was no proper place for us to sit. One man was serving food, seating guests, and taking orders. One man. Then a second person joined them later. All the staff were in casual clothes. No uniform.

There were 6 of us in the family. We were given a table under the stairs (with the edges of stairs dangerously out to hit anyone getting in or out — who adds a table there is what I'm still wondering).

Then we waited approximately 15-20 minutes on a practically empty restaurant for our order to be taken. And another 15-20 minutes for it to arrive.

If the wait wasn't enough to kill the appetite, the unclean plates and spoons sure did. There were water marks, spots, etc pointing to a very hasty job. In fact, when we sought a replacement, that too was not properly clean.

Plus one thing that particularly got me frustrated was the badly formatted menu card. The spacing was missing and it was a task to figure out the items (just look at the attached images).

All in all an avoidable place for the food is average at best, in a place where the ambience and the service badly...
