Anjlika Pastry Shop — Restaurant in Delhi

I visited this place today ..and had the most horrible experience ever! Me and my friend entered the shop to satisfy our afternoon sweet cravings and ended up leaving with a 'bitter tooth' instead.. In initial view everything 'LOOKED' soo palatable, but I was proven wrong soon! After paying for our order at the counter:

1. The paneer roll my friend received had a bug on it, which when complained was replaced without even a sorry.
2. I received a stale blue berry pastry which was hard and had fungal moulds growing all around it! To my surprise the guy had the audacity to tell me that the color (green) was of blue berry!!!
3. when I asked for replace and checked their shelf I was shocked to know all the blueberry pastries had fungal moulds growing on them.So I decided to go with chocolate chip pastry in last attempt to get value for my money. I even took a bite of it before realizing that it also had moulds (had to look closer to find moulds on chocolate color)
4. The size of the pastry piece being thinner than standard size you receive at other places would have been ok if the sufficed it with quality 5)Very poor customer care , after having this horrible experiences , they didn't apologize even once .
5. would've given a negetive rating if possible. I wouldn't dare to enter this place again even if you give me a million dollars! Am highly dubious of the hygeine conditions. Costly , posh look and eye candy items may attract innocent people like me into this shop . That's why I felt the need to put up this review here . Hope it'll save someone...

I have seen this establishment operating from Day 1 when they opened their gates, so many years ago, to the mellow crowd of shoppers coming to Rajouri Garden & they have NEVER ever disappointed me or anyone I know who has already been there.

They have everything going right for them, be it the expansive display of range of breads, sweets, cakes, baked goods & other confectioneries, or their immaculate sense of cleanliness while handling food. In a way, they set you up pretty good before actually serving your order. Which brings me to how their products actually taste like! Well, over all this time I have had the good experience of ordering a wide array of their offerings which started from cakes, pastries, biscuits, rusks, sandwiches, hot dogs & what not & they have ALWAYS been right up there in my list as far as taste & satisfaction is concerned. Special mention should be made about certain items: Mocha Walnut biscuits, whole wheat bread, Masala Kulcha, Mango Mousse, Chicken Tikka Hot Dog & Malai Chicken wrap.

Saving the very best for the last, one must definitely try their Cold Coffee & don't forget to have your lips around their latest ice-cream servings which are...

I love the pastries of this place . Whenever I used to visit I always had a truffle pastry . Earlier it was just a bakery and pastry shop. But now it's a huge amazing Cafe type Bakery. It also serves different variety of cuisines being it Italian , to indian . We had

1. White sauce Pasta
2. Veg patties
3. Grilled Sandwich
4. Oreo Shake
5. Paneer Roll Everything was delicious. Also the food was according to our customisation , we asked the pasta should not be sweet and tasty milky . So good thing , it taste brilliant with accurate amount of salt and spices . I never had such fresh crispy crunchy veg patties . The shake was bit milky and less thick , but it was good . Also the decor of this place is amazing . Healthy environment where you can sit and talk with your friends .
