Bakingo — Restaurant in Delhi

FIRST IMPRESSION IS THE LAST IMPRESSION. ZERO RATING. WORST BAKERY. DO NOT PLACE YOUR ORDER EVER. I REPEAT. NEVER EVER PLACE YOUR ORDER WITH THESE SCAMSTERS.

I placed an order (#1447566) for a cake, provided these people with my contact number as well as an alternative number for the delivery agent to contact me when delivering my order. The agent never called me, placed a note saying the customer's phone was switched off, and delivered my order to some XYZ location.

I just received a message asking me to share the feedback of the order received. That was the point I realised what all has happened in the backend.

Immediately, I placed a call to their customer care. On the first call one of the agent (Prakash) attended the call, heard my query, and started arguing with me, and blaming me for the mishap that has happened. He then placed my call on hold, came back with no solid update/resolution, and asked again to place the call on hold. And, then he disconnected the call.

Frustrated of this I'll-experience, I called again & had to repeat myself in front of the other agent (Sumi). No doubt she took my concern, and was good on the empathising part. But then, she too did not came back with any solid update/resolution even after placing the call on hold for almost 5 minutes. After the call retrieval, she said that she was unable to get in touch with the retailer and the relevant team, but has marked my case for a call back from the relevant team. She promised for a call back within the next 5-10 minutes with an assurance saying that my case has been marked as priority.

It has been an hour till now and I haven't received any callbacks.

First time ordered from bakingo website ! ( Got the cake delivered from Bakingo shalimarbagh branch) Sorry to say had a bad experience in terms of TASTE n TASTE only !!

However everything got foreshadowed because of the taste of the cake was soo average that we had to give it all away to our maids and other people outside as no one in the family liked the taste ... i usually order from only bakeries like Pastry palace , PURI bakers those who have tried these bakers know the taste but the taste of the cake from bakingo was no where close .... i dont know how there system works if they get there cake from third party bakeries but its very disappointing ... cake bread didnt look fresh , ... the design finishing is not that good ... the price was also similar as i would have paid to other bakeries that i mentioned above .. however this time i just wanted to try bakingo but sorry will not be able...

It was me who suggested bakingo on my mom's birthday and I regret that. I ordered fruit frenzy cake.

Alert 🚨 they don't publish bad customer reviews on their website. Fruits on fruit cake was too less than what is shown in the picture... Mostly the cake was tried to be filled with apple pieces and the pieces were super small.. And even after using finely diced apples, some part were left empty.. Grapes pieces were diced in half in picture but in real I think they took half grape and grated it one half grape only.. No dragon fruit.. Cake was too sweet.. The cake looked really cheap. Dont go for this cake people and I'm never gonna suggest bakingo after this event which was turned into an incident by bakingo. I was feeling all low prices materials were used in cake and even low priced fruits were used in such small qty that the cake top was decided to be left empty by whoever the cake was baked by.
