Bikanervala | Jyoti Nagar Shahdara — Restaurant in Delhi

I visited Bikanerwala at Durgapuri Chowk and honestly, it was one of the worst experiences ever. The entire staff – from the store manager to the people taking orders and serving – was completely unprofessional.

I went there with my mom around 08:09 PM. The place wasn’t even crowded (barely 10–15 people) but still the atmosphere was chaotic with people shouting. I ignored that and placed my order, which hardly took 2 minutes. That’s when the nightmare started.

My throat literally went dry asking again and again about my order. The staff wasn’t even interested to listen, let alone respond properly they didn’t bother to make eye contact and were busy packing online orders. After waiting for 45 minutes, I decided to cancel my order. When I went to the cashier, instead of resolving the issue, he gave me attitude and spoke in the most unprofessional manner. Since I was with my mom, I avoided arguing, and then he randomly told another staff member to hand me my food.

After another 13 minutes of waiting, they gave me a plate of masala dosa which wasn’t even my order. I had ordered a Deluxe Thali. When I questioned this, their response was unbelievable: “Chawal khatam ho gaye hai, abhi shaadi paneer bana rahe hain, isiliye dosa de diya.” Seriously? Without even informing me, they decided what I should eat.

By then, I was beyond frustrated. I had no words left. This place is a total joke completely unprofessional, pathetic service, and zero respect for customers. I asked for a refund and walked out....

This Bikanervala is just a sweet shop which has a few snacks that can be taken home. There is no option to dine in and it lacks most of the important items that a person likes of bikanervala. This is mostly a shop to sell sweets and have a lot of packed food items of bikano. Think before you visit the place. There are no chole bhature no dosa no chinese nothing. I have attached the menu the items are the same that you can get but they have increased the prices of items. And you will have to order to know the price. This felt disappointing and the major reason to give it a 3 star for increased prices from what is on the menu and limited items that are served plus no...

Literally speaking I don’t even remember that how much times i have been to 5 star hotels and restaurants , cafes like haldirams but i am speaking this from the core of my heart that this Bikanervala has the worst staff training they don’t even know how to talk with the customers , most of the time when there is some rush in the store than they will say that items are out of stock to other customers .. worst staff i would stay worstttttt… generally I don’t post reviews but see how badly they treated me that i have to post this.. and also their staff is forcing customers...
