Cafe Coffee Day — Restaurant in Delhi

We ordered 2 Devil’s Own and I specifically requested no ice due to a bad throat. The staff said it can’t be made without ice but suggested adding ice cream instead, I agreed. Moments later, their blender broke down, and we were offered Vietnamese Cold Coffee as a replacement. I asked if there would be any price difference and was told "No sir, same price."

Later, I checked the menu and saw that the Vietnamese coffee was actually cheaper. When I asked for a refund, the staff initially refused. Only after I insisted and she spoke to her manager did they return ₹80. But here’s the worst part; the extra ice creams (which were supposed to replace the ice) were never added, and I was not refunded the ₹286 charged for them either.

This is cheating, plain and simple. If a customer trusts your recommendation, this is NOT how you treat them. I felt misled, ignored, and utterly disappointed.

I asked for a small Chilli cheese toast for Rs 120 and person serving said that he cannot serve me unless I pay him Rs 120 first...I have visited this place several times and nothing like this happened before... I was always served first and i paid later using credit card/debit card or cash....but this time these guys demanded money first for such a small amount.....this happened because they have many customers now and they are least bothered about how they treat them.... they are money minded and don't care about treating their customers respectfully....also their items are super expensive. This particular CCD has something wrong everytime I visit this place, it is nearest to my house, they will.never serve hot coffee or they will never serve a coffee rather they will serve milk and then they will.not accept their fault and on top.of it despite or fixing or drink first they will prepare other orders or will simply forget. Not even once did I get a proper coffee at this CCD but unfortunately I keep visiting again and again as it is the nearest one to me. Guys visit this place on your own risk... Do not expect any good service or quality of food, imagine eating micro heated cheese chili toast which the rest of CCD's would bake on oven these guys would micro heat it and present...
