Prasad Nagar Lake — Attraction in Delhi

Prasad Nagar Lake, 2nd water body in Delhi that hostel boating,that a peddle boats. The lake is more than 40 yrs old and was recently revamped and last time when I remember it was inaugurated by prev Delhi minister Ms sheela dikshit. At present boating is paused

But it has various other activities like badminton court, Vollyball court, jogging tracks, Local Gym, This place is maintained by the Delhi govt. It also has a washroom facility so that the place is hygienic . Nice place for a stroll in the early morning. But it is not advisable to visit during night time and there have been cases...

While it offers a piece of paradise in this congested concrete jungle, the lake needs clean up of the crowd that pollutes it, throws things in it, feeds rats with flour, and fishes in it. Polluted lake. There is no-one to take the responsibility to get it clean from the authorities. This lake is situated within nearby colonies of Rajender Nagar and Prasad Nagar.
