Neither the taste nor the ambiance feels like that of a South Indian restaurant. Eating here would probably stop your craving to have South Indian food, as even the simplest of things like masala dosa confused the taste buds, as did the accompanying sambar and chutneys. So was the rasam. This gets further proved by the empty restaurant at most times, day or night noticed during our frequent visits to the market. The best analogy would be the roadside highway restaurant where the bus stops for food breaks, recall how their dosa tastes like.
Further the staff are untrained and kept staring at you if not standing near your seat, possibly as the whole place was empty and there was nothing to do. Of the two visitors who came later too turned back seeing the gloomy atmosphere.
To top it all in the name of fusion and culinary experience, imagine adding cheese, mayo of all things to that virgin dosa. The seating too is bland and seemed (un)inspired by the old American diner.
First of last visit and a bad palate experience. For us it was a forced choice as it was late Monday and all nearby outlets were closed. Only advice - Best if avoided under all circumstances.
