Jo's Bistro — Restaurant in Delhi

I recently visited Jo and Bistro, and I must say it was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. While the place may appear visually appealing and the ambience might seem inviting at first glance, do not let that fool you — especially if you're planning to actually eat there.

From the moment we were served, it was clear that the food was not freshly prepared. It felt like most of the dishes had been cooked long before and simply reheated. The pasta was undercooked and lacked flavor entirely. The Manchurian wasn’t served properly — it was barely warm and tasted stale. Honestly, I’ve had better food at basic street stalls.

But what really ruined the evening for me was the drink I ordered — YUZU. Before ordering, I asked the female staff member about its taste, and she clearly mentioned it’s a sweet and tangy beverage. However, the drink I received was unexpectedly spicy and left a terrible burning sensation in my throat. It was not only misleading but also physically uncomfortable. For someone with even mild sensitivity, this could have serious consequences.

To top it all off, just a few hours after dining there, I fell sick. I had clear symptoms of food poisoning and had to deal with an upset stomach and weakness for the next day — all thanks to their unhygienic and poorly prepared food.

If you're planning to visit just to click some aesthetic pictures or enjoy the ambience, maybe it’s worth a stop. But if you're actually going there to eat, I strongly advise you to think twice.
