Kaleva Sweets: Where Sweet Memories Are Made
This Kaleva restaurant I frequent often. Their upstairs dining area adds another layer to the Kaleva experience I adore.
The Kaleva's aroma of freshly made goodness hits you always. The sweets on display are a sight to behold – every treat is a testament to the passion and skill poured into their creation.
But Kaleva is more than just the visual feast. Each bite is a revelation – a symphony of textures and flavors that dance on your palate. As a regular, I've developed my personal favorites.
Special Thali,
Deluxe Thali,
Rajma Chawal combo,
Dhokla, Moong dal halwa and Raj kachori.
However, the true beauty of Kaleva lies in their constant innovation. New creations appear in the display with delightful regularity, each one a delightful surprise waiting to be discovered.
The previous single-floor setup at Kaleva pulsates with a warm energy. The friendly staff is always there to greet you with a smile and answer any questions you might have. They are the heart and soul, their genuine passion for their craft shining through in every interaction. Whether you're a seasoned Kaleva connoisseur or a first-time visitor, they make you feel right at home.
The new upstairs dining area fills me with immense joy. The prospect of enjoying my favorite Kaleva treats in a dedicated space, perhaps with a cup of coffee or tea, is simply delightful. I imagine it to be a place where conversations flow freely, fueled by the shared love for good food and good company.
Kaleva Sweets is more than just a place where memories are made – a birthday cake shared with loved ones, a quiet afternoon spent savoring their delicacies, or a casual catch-up with friends.
With the new deco, I can only imagine the new experiences that await. Perhaps it will be a venue for hosting small gatherings, a place to unwind after a long day, or simply a comfortable haven to indulge in the Kaleva magic. One thing is certain – the future of Kaleva Sweets shines bright, and I, for one, cannot wait to be...
Read moreI ordered a Navratri thali and kheer from this outlet through Zomato. I am such an old customer. It’s been more than a decade now. I had always purchased by visiting the shops but time I ordered through Zomato. What a pathetic experience. The food was too oily, pooris were cold and weren’t sealed packed properly and kheer was missing from my package. It’s not about the ₹100 that I lost out on because they didn’t deliver the kheer. It’s about ethics and work morality and integrity. On Zomato they had given a number to reach out to them. I did message them on WhatsApp and also called but neither the message went through nor did the call. It said the phone was switched off. Till now messages are showing undelivered. I posted about this on their Zomato page but my comment is not showing there. I don’t know if they have deleted my comment or hidden it. But I couldn’t locate my comment there. I can’t believe the extent to which they can stoop down to, to hide and not acknowledge their mistake. As usual it was just the copy paste message they sent me.
It’s very appalling and annoying that it’s kaleva that’s made a mistake and it’s US (CUSTOMERS) who have to try and reach out to them to get a proper resolution. Rather these people should reach out to customers. I have to say that kaleva today has lost their one of the most loyal customers. I am not going to visit their shops and neither will I order anything from Zomato from their page. Shame on these people. Thankfully I didn’t order a large pack of kheer otherwise it would have been a greater loss.
Just one advice to Manish Jha whose number was shared in those Zomato comments- please work on developing some work ethics, morality and integrity. Shame on you. Now please don’t copy paste your comments here. If you had really wanted to make amends, you would have reached out to me when I sent you WhatsApp messages....
