Over enthusiastic staff misguiding customers. I went in like usual and was about to look for the counter when one of the staff members directed me to order online through the QR code and app. I presumed they are not taking orders over the counter. I tried a couple of times to place the order but due to some issues at my end, the payment didn’t go through. All the while, the staff member is trying to get into my phone by hovering over me and trying to operate my phone himself. Very annoying indeed. What do they think? We are illiterate people who don’t know how to use a mobile? And what happened to social distancing? The guy was literally breathing down my neck. Appalling. When finally I gave up and asked him if I can simply pay at the counter, he said yes. So why did he not tell me that earlier? It would have saved me at least 15 minutes and associated nonsense. Read moreThe only good thing corona has brought to this outlet is online payments, now you can scan the QR code available it will redirect you to the mc donalds web page where you can place your order and proceed for payment through Google pay, Phonepe and Paytm upi methods. Earlier it used to be only card and cash which was frustrating because adjacent to it Burger king was readily accepting online payments.
A whatsapp message declaring the order details would also emerge so there's no confusion regarding anything which is also a blessing of covid 😕 to formulate less contact with everything running alongside.
