The food is thought to have been spread by caravan routes connecting the Central Asian steppe to both East and West. Momo-like filled dumplings, called by a closely associated group of words, exist in Mongolian, Turkish, Persian, Uzbek, and many other Central and East Asian cuisines.5

Since this dish was initially popular among the Newar community of the Kathmandu Valley of Nepal, one prevalent belief is that traveling Newar merchants brought the recipe and the name momo from Tibet where the Newar Merchants used to go to trade. Read moreDelicious momos with spicy hot chutni ! . I have tasted paneer, tandoori paneer and kurkure paneer momos. Tandoori and steam paneer momos were delicious, must try but kurkure momos could be better with the outer crust. Both chutni and mayo were very good too as they should be ❤️ . Service is quite slow which I have experienced every time I have been there(4-5) times and the average order takes more than 15 minutes and it is an open food destination so no seating space is there and hygiene could be the issue if you are into a seating restaurant but for street food enthusiasts it shouldn't be a problem. . Price also seemed a bit expensive but it is what it is. . Food - 4/5 Price -4/5 Hygiene - 3/5 Service-2/5 . Added several photos for ref . Don't forget to upvote...
Read moreI always liked this place for momos as the previous 4 visits made a good impression but the latest visit somehow altered it. I visited around 4 o'clock and ordered Tandoori Momos. It was not at par which usually they serve. May be the Tandoor was not that hot to make it delicous. Onions serve over the Momos are always good. Recommend to go in the evening at the peak time after 7 pm and enjoy Tandoori, crispy and fried momos. Changed the rating from 3 to 4, I really liked the tadoori momos this time again. Giving 3 star would be an injustice...
