The Cage Cafe — Restaurant in Delhi

I recently visited this place with my office colleagues for lunch, hoping for a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, our visit was marred by a frustrating encounter with one of your staff members.We ordered dal fry, but to our surprise, dal makhani was served instead. When we politely mentioned the mistake, the staff member confidently insisted that we had ordered dal makhani. This response left us feeling perplexed and disappointed, as it was not what we had requested.While we understand that mistakes can happen, we were taken aback by the lack of accountability and the dismissive attitude displayed by your staff member. Their unwillingness to acknowledge the error and rectify the situation tarnished our overall impression of the restaurant.As customers, we value clear communication and attentive service. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of these expectations. We hope that you will address this issue with your staff to prevent similar incidents...

This place has been started in krishna nagar few years back with a new concept when not even a single cafe exist here and i've been visting this place since then.

But few things i always dislike about this place :

Firstly, their serving style because as its a jail based cafe but atleast you can provide a better quality plates and glasses to the customers.

Secondly, their staff will keep on asking you if you want anything else & it feels like they want you to leave this place if you dont want to order anything more which is so disrespectful.

But if i talk about food then the food is good over here. I personally dont like snacks much but the main course of this place is totally amazing.

Cage Cafe has an unique concept of jail like ambience with waiters in dress code of policewala and while customers seated in chair n table like fine dining only, ordering food.

The restaurant is little congested depending upon the crowd or occupancy of tables but it undoubtedly offers the food n snack items yummy n worth spending. I loved here the red n white saus pasta, paneer lababdar, dal makahni and dahi ke shole for choice! Otherwise, all servings are awesome here in taste, quality n quantity.

This restaurant serves the orders via Zoomato n Swiggy also.

Must try once if u r looking for a decent food to much on, hanging out with friends or family. For large group, it's not...
