So, 8 of us went for dinner here. There was no one in the restaurant. All the staff, waiters and cooks were in lobby catching up on the IPL7 final. Anyway we were asked to sit in the AC room and handed the menu card. Hot and sour soup was cold as stone. Spring roll seemed to be stale and re-heated. For main course, we asked for Paneer Pasanda, and he recommended Veg. Maharaja and Dal fry. And they only had chapati! What? Any way it took them a good 25 minutes for preparation. Our waiter dint know how to serve and served all 4 pieces of Paneer to first 4 friends and rest of us got only gravy. Roti's were microwaved hot and stiff. And finally to top it off, they added 20% service charge to our bill because we were sitting in AC room. 20% are you kidding me? We left the hotel half full with wallet completely full. Aavkar Restaurant review Went on a quite night , Tuesday around 2045. Looks like it just got renovated. As dada was sitting in a high chair. Steep steps from the entry to the basement and regulars will find new interiors quite flat. No fancy ceilings or walls Sayu would expect in a restaurant.

New capacity is around 70 ppl, but upon asking it needs to be pre reserved like other places. As usual new wait times are same on weekends around 35 mins. Menus are still same keeping same old price points.

Entree with main times were quite a long drinks were brought along with mains as we ask for it.

Staff is approachable and attentive, however don’t forget we visited at quote night and period.

I recently visited this restaurant after a long time, as all other options were packed and I needed to have dinner quickly before a meeting. It seems the management has changed since my last visit. The place was not very crowded, but the food I ordered was delicious, fresh, and served in generous portions. The rotis were also excellent, resembling homemade ones.

The pricing was very reasonable, and although there were only a few servers, they were efficient and ensured prompt service. While the seating arrangement is somewhat outdated and a bit cramped, the quality and taste of the food make up for it. I would definitely recommend this restaurant...
