Chowman (Indirapuram) — Restaurant in Ghaziabad

Highly disappointed with the staff and the manager especially. The manager was missing from the outlet most of the times. We were regular customers of chowman where we used to visit as well as home deliver regularly from kolkata new town outlet as well here in indirapuram. But one complaint yesterday regarding the staleless of the bhetki fish neither the waiter nor the manager addressed the issue. When the bill was charged with the same dish and we addressed it to the manager , he initially kept us waiting and then told that since most of the dish was eaten they will charge it. No update was given whether the quality issue which we raised was genuine or not.

Highly disappointed. Staff behaviour comes to notice only when they react in such situations and handle them. Charging for a low quality dish is not a problem but not addressing whether it was stale or not and responding rudely to the customer is very disheartening. We were with our guests and ordered 7 to 8 dishes and we're very happy with the food but such poor handling of the issue by manager and waiter really spoiled everyone's mood.

A small aesthetically done dine in, with a very Kolkata China Town(Tangra) feel. Located in Nitikhand and parking could be a problem on weekends. For the disabled,there are a few steps that need to be negotiated . Exhaustive menu with many of the old Indian Chinese favourites. They also serve Octopus,Lobster and Pork. Quality of food blew my senses. Compliments to the chef for giving me a taste of my growing years. We ordered Chily Pork with gravy,Sweet and Sour Chicken and Kolkata style seafood fried rice( which also had pork). I will definitely go back and sample other items on the menu. The service was impeccable. Very polite table staff with the Manager personally keeping an eye on whether we were happy or not. A meal for two people with moderate appetite would cost around 1500 rupees and one would also bring back the leftovers which could be another meal. So I would say Value for Money. Chowman food is quite good in a little cozy restaurant. However, their online service sucks. I can say this at least for their Indirapuram outlet. Their online service is absolutely hopeless. They provide options to customers to note for customization. Unfortunately, no one in the organization bothers to even check your notes before delivering the food. Every time the same thing happens. Today, their 15th anniversary offer was just a hoax. Being in the hospitality industry, they need competent team to handle such server load. Can't just go offline and then no update later. If you complain at their call centre, they only apologize; no action. Hospitality industry is not so easy. Any small outlet in Delhi NCR knows how to satisfy their customers. This is lacking in Kolkata businesses. Nothing surprising though. Kolkata businesses only can count the money but very poor with customer experience and satisfaction. And Chowman is...
