There are hardy few restaurants in Ghaziabad which can match the restaurants in Delhi and Gurgaon. Especially when it comes to ambience and quality of service. But this newly opened restaurant in Raj Nagar Extension is definitely going to stand out in Ghaziabad and after few months down the probably be counted among the best of restaurants in Delhi NCR region.
The reasons are manifold. First and best is ambience. A spacious rooftop is a luxury in Ghaziabad and an impressive feature in NCR region. Superb interiors and terrific designs are other prominent attributes of this restaurant. A great ambience always sets the good mood for the dinner and if the food becomes good then it becomes wonderful memory. Same this happened to me here too after experiencing the food here which I am going to describe it next.
Starters
Dahi Ke Sholey : This is my all time favorite dish and I never miss it anywhere. The quality was superb with right amount of hung curd used and reasonably fried. It is quite crunchy and crispy and could not stop my self for devouring all and inviting the wrath of my other friends :)
Chilli Paneer : Surely this dish was in competition with Dahi Ke Sholey. The quality and softness of Paneer was too good. Also the right ingredients of onions, capsicum and chillies with nice blending of sauces makes it an awesome dish.
Har kebab : A nice dish. Little bit hard but taste was damn good. Certainly, not an avoidable option.
Paneer Tikka : Well, I had already mentioned that the quality of paneer was very good. The tender of the Paneer makes the perfect Paneer Tikka dish for the lovers.
After having so many starters with the friends, we ordered the following main courses .
Paneer Dhaniya Adraki : This is a challenging dish as any wrong amount of ingredients with slight variations would make it a disaster dish. But the chef of this restaurant seems to be be expert and having deft hands in making this dish a absolute delight. Must try dish without any doubts.
Dal Makhani : Another good dish which was well cooked.
In the end DO NOT MISS their show-stopper dish : Gulkand Ice-cream. I won’t write it as it needs to be...
Read moreCrops&Curries is a beautiful sophisticated place especially by Ghaziabad standards. The interiors are delightful with a nice open roof seating. The place has a very charming colorful decor with a bar in the side view and smoking zones outside in the open roof area. The staff is extremely courteous and knows about the food they are serving. Got a chance to meet their chef Mr. Rajesh who was extremely humble to take us through the dishes. Here's a list of what I recommend if you decide to visit this place: Starters Dahi k Shole : While most of the restaurants have incorporated this dish into their menu only a few can make them light and soft and yet crispy on the outside. Crops&Curries serves light and crisp Dahi k Shole which will not make you feel heavy. Chilly Mushroom : Nothing extraordinary about this dish. Just that it will not disappoint you. If you are mushroom fan, go ahead order it! Hara Bhara Kabab : Again an extremely soft and light dish which will not disappoint you. Main Course: Paneer Dhaniya Adraki : At first I didn't appreciate this dish so much, however, when I got into savoring it, this dish proved to be an absolute delight. Extremely buttery the flavors were infused into it really well. Not for people who prefer spice. Dal Makhani : Again nothing extraordinary about it, just that it was really very well done. Mix Sauce Pasta : The pasta was nicely infused with the mix sauce and was accompanied with two garlic bread pieces which were not just toasted but properly culminated with garlic. For non vegetarians Chicken Fafiza was a definite showstealer. The dish has fine slices of chicken which were properly cooked with a very unique and subtle taste of tanginess. Every non vegetarian on the table loved this dish. What not to order: Chicken Lollipop. This dish was dry and a bit of a disappoint. I recommend you to not order this.
Overall Rating : 4.5/5 (since you just do not find places like...
