I like to call this place a high-end dhaba. This place was originally a dairy, but it developed into a good pure vegetarian restaurant. I have been going here since 2001, so my experience has always been excellent, otherwise I wouldn't be visiting this place regularly for decades. Today we went for dinner. There is ample space for seating. Two big enough rooms for seating 25-30 people each. They have outdoor seating available as well. Parking can be slightly difficult as there is no designated parking space, just the curbside parking. On a less crowded day it will be easy to park, but on a crowded day you might struggle to find a parking. As I mentioned calling this place a high end dhaba, that is primarily because the ambience is very casual and homely. The outdoor seating is on plastic chairs and tables. The indoor furniture is of metal but something you will commonly see at dhabas. But the built of look and feel of this restaurant is very good. It gives a very very positive vibe. The rooms have ACs. The place is very neat and clean. The service guys are dressed like us, very casual, but they are very polite and welcoming. The food will give you a full dhaba feel, but it is very tasty despite not being laced with oil or ghee. The Mixed Vegetable of this place is very famous. It is one of the USP of this place. And what has surprised me for years is that their rates are very easy on the wallet despite being such a popular restaurant for decades. They serve ice cream cones and you can buy aate wale biscuits as well, and many confectionery and dairy products along with breads and buns. It is an old restaurant which has stayed famous among vegetarians who love North Indian food. In the beginning, most of the seating was in open and the closed space was non-airconditioned. However, over a period of time, revamping and renovations took place and the inside seating arrangement saw comfortable sitting and effective airconditioning.

People usually reserve it if number of guests are more and they have to celebrate some occasion or if the weather is really hot. The food, ambience and service have stayed great and have improved as well in the following years.As far as parking is concerned, it is no problem at all and it is easily accessible.

It is a family-run enterprise and the owners take the business seriously and serve tasteful offerings sincerely. Maini Restaurant has been there when there were hardly a few in the proximity and has created a niché for its quality, taste and delivery.

I used to go to this restaurant when I was 10-12 yrs old. And even after 20 yrs, they have not spend a ruppee on overall standard - still same dirty plates, glasses, still same poor siting. But when it comes to charging price to customer they are charging even more than some best restaurants in Delhi.
