We went to Mamagoto, Sector 62 for dinner today and it was a totally forgettable experience. We are not new to the Mamagoto brand and go to the Mall of India and Sector 129 branches pretty frequently. However, this is the first time we went to this particular branch.
The food was less flavorful as compared to Mamagoto standards and the service was plain. For example, the Sushi platter made for me was lying at the drinks counter for 15 minutes before it was served to me on the table. Such things do happen in this industry but the issue I faced with payment made me decide to never visit this branch again.
I had made the booking through Eazydiner which was offering 25% discount. At the same time Swiggy Dineout was offering 30% for the same time slot. I booked through Eazydiner and the bill given to me was after deducting the discount. I tried thrice to pay from the Eazydiner app but the payment didn’t go through. I finally paid through Swiggy Dineout which offers additional 10% discount on all payments, irrespective of booking with them.
While I was walking out of the restaurant the restaurant staff along with the manager came out and said ‘Sir, aap do do discount nahi le sakte’. The way it was told in front of my family, was very belittling. I tried explaining them that what I paid by booking through Eazydiner was around 5% more than what I would have paid by booking through Dineout and I had not taken any extra discount. After they failed to appreciate it, I paid the difference amount and came back.
I have read in reviews about payment issues at this restaurant and today faced one myself. I am not sure who is at fault, the Eazydiner app, my credit card, the restaurant or myself, but I promise not to return to this...
Read moreHad an average experience. Staff was rude and not well trained.
Service: 1/5 did not serve food in our plates even though we were the only table occupied was reluctant to provide additional cutlery. we asked for a small bowl which the server was not open to provide and made fun of us for asking did not want to remove the service charge and brought another staff member to intimidate us. When we asked to remove the service charge he said its a discount and I cant then use Dineout to make the payment as it would be another discount. Removal of service charge is not a discount its a right of a customer. Service charge can not be mandatory, its a choice. And since the restaurant is listed on dineout and we had booked a table on dineout how can we not be allowed to make payment on it. so this was a pathetic experience.

Read moreIf you’re a fan of Asian cuisine and enjoy trying creative, flavor-rich dishes, Mamagoto is a must-visit. Known for its funky interiors and vibrant energy, this Pan-Asian restaurant offers a memorable dining experience that’s both casual and satisfying.
The menu is diverse, covering Thai, Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian-inspired dishes, many of which are vegetarian-friendly. As a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised by the variety. The Street Style Veggie Dumplings were fresh and delicious with just the right kick of spice. Another standout was the Vegetarian Pad Thai Noodles — a perfect blend of tangy tamarind, crunchy peanuts, and sautéed vegetables that hit all the right notes.
The ambiance is playful, with comic-style artwork, warm lighting, and cozy seating that adds to the overall experience. It’s ideal for a casual lunch, a date night, or dinner with friends.
Service was prompt and courteous. The staff was knowledgeable about the menu and happy to offer recommendations based on dietary preferences.
Yes, prices lean toward the higher side, but the quality, portion size, and experience justify it. Overall, Mamagoto is a fantastic spot for anyone craving flavorful, well-executed Asian food in a lively setting. Highly...
