Bao is a nice little Goan joint a few meters before the Aldona Bridge. A friend of mine was having a family dinner there and had invited me over. I'm glad I got to experience the popular Bao restaurant of Aldona. We had ordered the rawa fried prawns, chicken lollipop, rice, fish curry and some beer to down it with. The food was decent, but the standout was the fish curry, which was like the traditional "humman" type preparation with a lot of spice, which I relished.

Nice and small place.... ambiance is good the food is great and very reasonable tried chicken tava fry which was lovely... and chicken sate very nice with a desi touch with garlic must try if you are a sate fan. The cheese garlic nun was good too. Overall a good place to hang out... do try if ur in Aldona

The food is pretty awesome. Value for money as well.. it is on the aldona mapusa road so very easily accessible. We tried 3 different Thalis the mackerel, the kingfish and the chonok. All were delicious. Hot and spicy and yummy. I'd definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good Goan food.

Turn around and RUN....hopeless tatseless place. One hungry afternoon I tried their King fish Thali parcel. They charged me 150 for small slice and 250 for big slice. So I thought wow same cost as Ritz classic and copper chimney. Must be good. To my disappointment I got I portion salad stale, fish Curry with fish bones, 1 veg beans carrot and coconut which was tasteless, and king fish neither was big and was stake and rubbery. Go eat at a veg place of u want. But not this...

I had a disappointing experience at the restaurant. Our order of chicken fried rice took 45 minutes to arrive, but it turned out to be egg fried rice. Even after complaining the waiter's response was unhelpful, suggesting the chef simply forgot to add chicken without offering a solution. Furthermore, the bill incorrectly charged us for chicken fried rice. When we brought this to the attention of the staff, they failed to acknowledge their mistake and provided unjustified...
