Invariably one of the best fish thalis in north goa. Baburao Morajkar is the owner, chef and cook of this small place which over the last 5 years has been the bastion of consistency in taste and quality. This, I can vouch after visiting the place for atleast a hundred times.

Baburao does everything by himself from procuring the freshest catch to making the most delicious and memorable hindu goan marinade for the rawa fish fry to making the most authentic and flavoursome fish curry. The rawa fry is definitely the highlight. Unlike most commercial restaurants , Baburao chooses to make each order of rawa fry fresh from scratch and most importantly use very little of rawa instead of smothering with it.

The fish and prawns rawa fry are always cooked to perfection, soft and succulent. The thali is always soul satisfying. The urrack served in season is high quality and the feni decent. The bar is decently stocked for a village restobar, with choices for many.

This is one of the rare places in Goa which attracts and serves with equal pleasure, the locals, the settlers as well as the tourists.
