Bar High Five — Restaurant in Goa

This was hands down the best vibe we experienced on our Goa trip! Bar High Five near Darlings Bar is the kind of place that transcends age groups — everyone was singing, laughing, and enjoying the music in full spirit. 🎶✨

We were originally headed to Darlings Bar, but this place drew us in with its infectious energy. Live music was playing and not just the people inside, even those outside in the lane were singing along — even neighboring bars echoed the vibe from here. It was that electrifying!

We tried Urrak here for the first time — a local Goan drink — and it was amazing. The drinks were well-made and fairly priced. We also ordered French fries, which came in huge portions, more than enough for two people.

The crowd was super friendly, and it's definitely a spot where you can make new friends over music and drinks.

One small hiccup: during our visit, the live singer Kaushik got offended by a song request and stopped the set mid-way. While unfortunate, the positive crowd vibe didn’t let the energy drop — everyone started singing on their own and the bar kept the mood alive by playing music afterward. That says a lot about the spirit of this place.

⚠️ Parking Tip: Don’t bring your 4-wheeler here. The lane is narrow and parking is a serious challenge. Walk or take a two-wheeler or cab.

I recently visited High Fi Bar in Chapora, and I must say it was an experience that truly stood out! The ambiance of the cafe is vibrant yet laid-back, perfectly capturing the Goan vibe. Great music, cozy corners, and a menu that satisfies both your cravings and curiosity.

But the real steal of the café was Karan, a gem of a human being! From the moment we stepped in, his gentle smile and warm demeanor made us feel so welcome. There's a kind of innocence in the way he carries himself no rush, no pretence, just genuine care. Karan served us with so much love and attention, it honestly elevated the whole dining experience.

You don’t often come across people like him in the service industry his authenticity is rare and refreshing. It’s people like Karan who turn a casual meal into a memorable visit.

Worst experience, we were a group of 4 sitting in a table, ordered a couple of things and wanted a hookah but that was taking time, after a few minutes the waiters started bugging us saying that you are on a table we need to bill more and 3 waiters just kept rounding our table making us feel very uncomfortable. After a point we felt so uncomfortable and unwanted that we had to leave with half our drinks and warm food in tissue paper. They wouldn't even let u finish our drinks and food. We go to chapora lane regularly and this was the first time we went to high five bar. From next time we are gonna stick to our regular bars, Darling's and Paulo.
