Cafe Coffee Day — Restaurant in Goa

When I stepped inside the CCD, there was no one to take the orders and we had to wait for 5 minutes. Post five minutes a staff came to the counter, who was busy talking in kannada on a phone call. It took him another 3 minutes to finish his conversation and get back to take our orders. I asked for a Milk Tea, and he said that they don't serve tea, after which i cross checked the menu card to see if there are no options of tea. ( There was) I asked the staff again and he responded that they just have plain tea with hot water , i asked him if it is with milk and sugar , repetitively the staff was saying that they just have tea with hot water, then I asked him if he can show me the packet to check the ingredients, if it's just a tea bag or a pre mix , it was a premix tea n I told him to prepare it , Upon preparing he served the tea in a glass jug , which was over full and the tea was flowing out of the jug, i asked him if I can get the tea in a recyclable cup or paper one. Cappuccino from cafe coffee day has definitely come a long way from the stuff we used to be offered back in the early days.

Really enjoyed the large cappuccino at the Goa dabolim airport, Gate A.

My only gripe with this outlet and the reason I’ve given it a 3 star instead of a 4 star is the fact that I picked up a large cappuccino to go on my low grill flight to Bombay and while serving me the coffee they staff told me that they didn’t have a lid for the coffee 🤦🏻‍♂️

Great for a variety of coffee options. Avoid the snacks though as they are all below par. Pastries are good and Choco Fantasy the best. Carry your own water. Nice location. Glass fronted. Toilet on the first floor is an inconvenience. No parking space at all is a big disadvantage and the road is a busy highway, so parking is not allowed. One can try parking at the neighbouring restaurant which has a parking lot but sometimes their security staff act...
